- It's been a long time coming but finally the followup to Part 1 • Escape Or Defeat | Tyr... of our Narrative Report series is here! Away with the Dreadnoughts, and hello to the new studio Sisters of Battle army for 10th Edition Warhammer 40,000!
Sent to reclaim to bones of the blessed Beati Cannonness Audrey, an Adeptus Sororitas vanguard force land on Elthyria and wage war upon the Tyranid Hive Mind forces on the surface. The mission is simple - on this battlefield we know the relics are here, but we just don't know where! Queue a mad dash to uncover the objectives across the battlefield, tempting fate of what's underneath!
We don't have a lot of narrative games under the belt but felt this one was good fun! N.B this was recorded a LONG time before the new codex dropped, so we're using Index rules for the Sisters
What a fun game! I love the addition of a dm to add surprises that neither player knows of beforehand. Loving the narratives!
Thanks man! It was fun to be playing and not knowing what Chris was concocting in the background on a big whiteboard! We love the narrative games, they don't usually do as well as the normal battle reports but they're a lot of fun to put together. Thanks for watching
I guess I'm the first one to comment. Do I win anything for the being the only commenter this week? lol. Time to watch this new match. 13:12 Are you also using non cubed dice? Are the units supposed to be close to each other and aren't they supposed to be spaced from each other? I believe it was 2 inches vertical and 1 inch horizontal?
Hah! Sadly no giveaway on this one. We might be using other dice for tracking wounds perhaps? As this was a narrative we’re a bit looser on the rules and focussing more on the story, how did you find it compared to our normal reports?
@@WeirdWolfGames it was more shorter than the previous matches, I can imagine it would take 30 minutes to complete the round with adjusted placements for each unit. Looking forward to seeing who wins the MG Strike while it's been weeks.
