Add me to that list too! While I've made quite a few bags over the years, I still pickup tips, but the detailed explanation throughout would help someone totally new to bag making. Her clear, calm voice really tops off the video and I've just downloaded this pattern too, but will upsize it as it's a bit small for my taste as is...but hey, that's not a big deal, just personal taste. Thanks again for a great video!
Thanks so much! I always learn new techniques from you. As for the pocket, we have come a long ways from cutting that box. WE now have zipper overlays, and ChrisW has a Credit card one. I have made one of the Iris Mini for someone but plan to make one for myself.
I’m so glad to hear it! There are so many different ways to do zipper pockets these days, I could not agree more about the new techniques! I love all the options, I try to show different ones across my videos as much as I can but it’s hard not to just stick to my favourites. Same goes for zipper methods. 😆 It’s a constant balance between sticking to a pattern as written and doing things ‘my way’.
Anxious to make this! Your tutorials are so helpful! Always enjoy them and learn something. Would you please make a video of you cutting all these pieces on your cricut? I feel like yours would be so helpful!
Great tutorial, thankyou. I have a tip, if you only sew the top and bottom lines of the pocket zip opening, and not the short ends, you get much neater corners
I have never found this war to work well for me but I know many people love it! Do you use a facing when you do this? The little triangles never want to stay tucked away for me. 🤣
@@OKSew474I think the secret is to cut your diagonal lines further away from the end, hard to explain what I mean, but it makes the triangles longer and easy to keep out of the way. But as always with sewing each to their own heh 😉
Absolutely! But that’s exactly why I need to revisit, I like to demonstrate lots of different ways of doing things. I am going to try it a few more times, I think you are spot on that “pointier” triangles would be better. Thank you! Watch this space. 😉
I don’t think you can download it separately but since the pdf pattern is free the cost is the same either way so I just checked out with the PDF+SVG bundle.
I absolutely LOVE how precise you are. It shows in your final product!
Thank you! ❤️
I am in love with your UA-cam channel, your tutorials are master classes and not just tutorials for me, you are truly the best ❤
I agree! Love her teaching method !
Absolutely agree! Love everything about her tutorials

Thank you so much for this kind comment!! 🥰
Thank you for all the helpful tips, it was mezmerizing to watch you make this, it is perfection in the finest sense.
Thank you 🥰
Now that you have pointed out the adjustment for the boxed corner I need to go and adjust my pattern piece 😊

Thank you again for your easy to follow tutorials, I have this pattern and am now looking forward to trying this one.
Tack!
Thank you! ❤️
I love that pattern. I made one for a friend. I have to make one for myself. I will use my Cricut for my bag. Thanks Nicole.

I am no expert compared to many others but I can add a cricut tutorial to my list!

When you get a chance, check out the pattern Chloe. I have it, and it adds stabilizer to the bottom.
I will! Who is the designer?
@@OKSew474 Merge Fabric and Crafts. I got the pattern off Etsy.
Do you know if I can get just the SVG? I already have the pdf. Thanks!
