Never was there a song that really embodied the meaning of what it really feels like being truely clinically depressed than this, never have I related to a song for so many years no matter how older I became...the sensation still linger & the darkness still remains. Thank you Mr. Hayes, for saying what many of us can't even begin to express around nor communicate to people & for letting us feel that we're not suffering alone in this...thank you, I hope one day I could evolve & become as an inspirational reflective musician as you are sir.

Darren’s voice is like a giant, comforting hug for the heart. So much emotion and vulnerability in his singing and lyrics. He’s one hell of a musician. This is a song I find myself coming back to when negative emotions or flashbacks come. I could listen to it all day sometimes. The music behind it strangely reminds me of the old house one of my brothers used to live in with his family. It was a cold, dark place where many suspicious and eerie things happened. Lots of things I don’t have an explanation for. I was only like 6 years old when I was living there for about six weeks with my parents, but I close my eyes and can still picture almost every room. It haunts me. This song perfectly captures the atmosphere in that place.
