i discovered this song last night while watching this girl’s memorial & this was the song her siblings played in the background while they showed everyone an edit of her. i didnt know her personally or at all until everybody was posting about her death. i think it’s been 3 years since her passing but every now & then i take a scroll through her instagram and just imagine what it would’ve been like to have been friends with her. its strange because she looked so happy. she was literally beautiful on the inside & out. its weird how i dont even know her but everytime i think about her death, it feels like i knew her enough to feel the same heartbreak her friends & family felt. one thing about her is that she clearly had amazing taste in music. she made a cover for steve lacey’s “c u girl” & honestly i wish steve lacey himself, one day discovers it. may she rest in eternal peace.
