i BLINKED and you had this done. stay on top of it man, you’ve done the right thing with youtube videos, and it’s sure playing off. admire your dedication😎
you should consider a magnetic brake run on your future coasters i think its just 2 small magnets on the track and an aluminum fin mounted on the train which shouldn’t be hard to find it would just be better than a sudden jolting stop maverick is incredible and your recreation is too
I loved KNEX when I was a kid, and I was a teenager when they built Maverick. I followed the whole construction of it closely, cause I mean come on. It's an awesome ride! Cedar point had this really cool animation of it on their website that I wish I could still find, but they took it down. It was a birds eye view of the entire coaster, showing the trains moving thru the track. I loved having that animation, because I used to also play NOLIMITS Coasters, which was software where you could design any kind of rollercoaster, and then render 3d animations of riding them, or you could move around them while they were in operation in the software, so yes of course I rebuilt the Maverick in that software. Seeing that you did it out of K'NEX is just next level to me! Great job! This is so cool!
Watching this video just kills my heart because last time I was at CP I waited in line for maverick for probably 2 hours only for it to close before we were going to get on. Anyway, great video as always, keep up the great work
Smashing build ! Your a very underrated UA-camr and coaster creator u deserve more for these creations , maybe try building a RMC for your next project.
You should have added a trim on top of the hill after the launch, it’s there in real life and the model shows why, it feels a bit too fast on the second part
Very good question! Building them in reverse makes it so I can make each element as short as possible with it still clearing the elements. This makes to the speed loss problem other builders run into isn’t a problem with my builds
Yup. It really avoids a lot of problems. Like if I built the lift first and by the I found it didn’t have enough speed then that would be a huge problem.
I Just found your channel. That was awesome. Just a few questions. I thought it would be different to build a train bridge for my N & G scale trains. So is there a website you go too to find all this and is there something you can look at for how to build using Knex? Thank you. OH how do you only have 5.3 subs this is cool stuff.
At the beginning I was like "He should build the heartline roll" and you did. I understand why they removed it but it wouldve been awesome if they managed to make it work Luckily, Velocicoaster has a spiritual succesor to the Maverick Heartline roll in the Mosasaurus Roll.
Nice video! Idk if its just me but when you were filming the coaster while panning the camera the motion blur was super intense and it was kinda jarring
Also my favorite ride was maverick tho I also love gatekeeper and I never got to ride drag racer before it got shut down. Have fun with the 95 degree drop
i BLINKED and you had this done. stay on top of it man, you’ve done the right thing with youtube videos, and it’s sure playing off. admire your dedication😎
For a solid 5 seconds I was like "But it's 'blunk'...not 'blinked'...." before I snapped out of it.

It doesn’t create a sudden jolt after tuning it. But I probably should upgrade at some point
@@CoasterObsessedadd a camera on the cart
@@beau5781 i think that would be too heavy and put too much stress on the track + supports, and would move the center of mass of the train wayyy up

That’s so frustrating! I think my model might be more reliable than the real thing lol
Get intamin’d lol
Sorry to hear that. It’s quite an experience, hope you get to ride.
@@kmccurdy21He won't.

yesss build steve and complete frontier land
edit: remembered how big the model is lmao
My favorite coaster all time. Just road it a week ago, never gets old.! Awesome build!
This is awesome!
From 5:13 on it is great to watch at .25 speed!
Maverick is my favorite ride at CP. I'm actually so glad to have it, and SV right next to it at my home park. This is so awesome.
Just to clarify, Maverick’s heartline roll was removed because it put too much stress on the tracks, not because it was too intense.
I had no idea about that roll that was removed. Excellent video as always. It’s always a good day when you upload.
you can even find the element abandoned in an area near cedar point!
@@sillydropoutbearit got moved after the thoosies found it
Yoo! Love this! Thank you for making this a full length video! Enjoyed every second!
This is so cool! Maverick is probably my favorite at CP!
Child: "dad, I wanna ride Maverick"
Dad: "not waiting 2 hours, plus we have Maverick at home"
Maverick at home
This is SO COOL!
W heartline roll it’s back let’s go
Best Knex i ever seen, good job !

Hold up babe coaster obsessed uploaded! Please make a roller coaster with the record for most airtime
That would be very difficult to calculate
Best knex channel by far
yesss, this is amazing. pleasse keep making these!!!
That is so cool! Love the heartline roll!
AWESOME that you did it with the inline twist. So sick bro, long live Intamin > Boring + Mabillard
Your working models are amazing! Keep up the good work!
Bravo 👏🏻! That’s Tremendously Awesome! 🤗❤️✨
This guy is wild
jeez ur good great vid keep up the great work mate😊
I like mille more only because of the

I don’t mind the restraints personally

Looks mighty impressive!!! Keep up the great work!
I love the physics of knex coasters, also, what do u use to make the track and rails?

How are building your coasters in reverse beneficial?
Or why do you build them like that?
I feel like it would make it harder..
Very good question! Building them in reverse makes it so I can make each element as short as possible with it still clearing the elements. This makes to the speed loss problem other builders run into isn’t a problem with my builds
@@CoasterObsessedSo you just try pushing the train at just the right speed to make the element so all the following elements get cleared?
Yup. It really avoids a lot of problems. Like if I built the lift first and by the I found it didn’t have enough speed then that would be a huge problem.
@@CoasterObsessed That is genius! You just change my building style forever!
Glad to help! It really makes sense to do it backwards but it’s not common in the K’nex world so I started doing it
you even added the roll my god this is epic
w video keep up the good work
This is very impressive. Keep it up!
One of my favorite Cedar Point Coasters!!! You should try to do millennium force next (if you have enough room)
This is awesome! Where did you get the track and supports for this? This looks amazing and I think you’re awesome!
I’ve been collecting them for years
🔥‼️
Fantastic re-creation man!
You forgot that part where it breaks down every few hours 😬
That ride looks fun 😊
Amazing!
Super cool
Maverick more than likely would get better reviews than it already does with the heartliner
This is amazing. It would be so cool to build a MOC of the entire Cedar Point park. Maybe through a LUG collab?
Nice job!

There isn’t really a specific website for that and every building just sort of figures it out
You should do Steel Vengeance then! I love that coaster at Cedar Point! It rivals Maverick in my opinion.
Where do you buy your tubing? Is it possible to get some from Home Depot and cut it yourself? Just hard to spend $20 for a small length
I usually buy it with the sets used. It’s like 35 dollars but at least you get pieces with it!

I just had to hit the like button to help get 1k likes
Ive been wondering how you get ahold of all the correct Knex pieces to make something like this.
Super structure s’est une belle réplique je serrais curieux de voir si tu peu improvisé. 🏆🏆
How do you get tubular track and the supports by the bulk as I wanna get back into knex.
needs a 10 hour loop video.
nice bro
This is so fucking cool.
it would be really cool to find a camera to put on these and do first person.
Can you build the Wonder Woman pendulum ride at six flags great adventure
Noice
Can you please do wildcats revenge at hershey park
Build the leviathan from canadas wonderland

So you live in Ohio then right
P. S. This is not a joke, cedar point is in Ohio
Nope. Went on a trip to cedar point last year tho. I’m in Utah. Home park is Lagoon
Hm I might have seen you there then
Also my favorite ride was maverick tho I also love gatekeeper and I never got to ride drag racer before it got shut down. Have fun with the 95 degree drop
