This is such a touching scene. I remember watching it when it originally aired in 1987. It always makes me cry when Frisco starts crying too. Love them so much.❤❤
JW, as Frisco, has done some amazing 'crying' scenes. Theatrically, he's able to tap into the appropriate emotion. But this was so deeply heartfelt, don't think anyone could deny we were seeing Jack and Kristina. At least that's what I tell myself when I watch this (back when it first aired and now on YT). Breaks me every time. 😢
I find it hard to believe that Frisco would leave her. Especially after Tania’s death, the Frisco we all come to know would want to be there for his brother, niece and wife. The writers made Frisco only cared about WSB the last few months before Jack left the show. I don’t believe anyone could replace Jack as Frisco but to some extent I wish they would have tried and recast him. If it didn’t workout with the recast then send him to the WSB. That way Frisco could have stayed true to his character.
When Felicia's gift is first shown, Frisco brings his hand up, a couple times, to touch hers. Wonder if J was directed to do that to help steady the box for the camera, especially given all the emotion, or just personal between J and K.
I've been watching GH for 45 years and I'm still crying over my favorite GH couples Frisco and Felicia I so wish them to get married and so they did love their real life wedding they have two beautiful sons together Peter and Harrison I was so upset when they got divorce!! I so wish Jack Wagner back on GH ASAP 🎬💞🙌💯

JW and KW were absolutely fantastic in that goodbye scene. Emotions were real, genuine, and raw.

Was this when he left to do West Story? I have the “Jack Wagner stars in West Side Story” shirt from 1987.
Yes.
