In Ukraine before 2022 for many years the government had stopped the census. Nowadays between 18 and 20 million people are left. Zelenski pumps this amount up to receive more money!

It would seem that as far as NATO is concerned, while there are still able bodied Ukrainian men of fighting age alive, there will be no capitulation. While the hidden losses are astronomical against the Ukrainian military they still whittle away at Russia's Army and that's what NATO is relying on. In my opinion it will harden the Russian resolve. The immediate rejection of Putin's olive branch confirms to me that NATO has not deemed Ukraine's fighting force although considerably weakened to be at a critic level. With the youth, the elderly and those who have escaped overseas able to fight and be sent to the front lines, this conflict could last years. The sickening part of all this is the military Industrial complex profit margins having more value than the human toll, how these creatures can sleep at night is beyond me. Zelensky is no longer relevant he serves only as a photo op for Western leaders to calm and indoctrinate the populous. Sad.😢 However in my humble opinion NATO had better walk with care, I don't believe the Russian military have released the brakes yet.
USA senator Lindsey Graham admitted they want to keep the mineral rich resources at any cost to keep them out of the hands of Russia and China. No real concern about the people being killed as long as they keep fighting.

It lost: - about 6 million to Russia - 6.5 million as refugees - at least 0.5 million dead - 1.5 million heavily injured - and the 0.2 million that escaped the draft Ukraine lost 13.2 million people in their entirety, or, 14.7 million able-bodied people. As a percentage, 32,20% and 35,85%, respectively. That leaves Ukraine with a total population of 27.8 million people, or, a population of 26.3 million able-bodied people. Wikipedia says that Ukraine has a population of 33.4 million people, with the territory controlled by Russia being included. A 1% error of the total of 33.8 million gained by combining the populations in the territories controlled by Ukraine and the territories controlled by Russia.
Ukraine is in full population implosion and it won't be fix. The country lost millions of people between 1990 and 2022. And it lost a couple millions more since february 2022.
They haven’t got enough people for many jobs and occupations, even short of train drivers. Also agriculture industry in jeopardy as they took so many needed for that industry too.
