I was expecting an overdone cover of Port Town, but I found myself very surprised at how faithfully it recreates the original but still manages to convey it's own message. Congratulations chiptune is not easy to rebuild without taking away the unique aesthetic of it and you did it
Best music track in the entire game for me, and that's saying something because I love them all. Sequence is masterfully done. I keep coming back to listen to this. 10/10
This song tells u: its not always easy and its not always how u would it like to be. But remember to never give up, because things u might not even see now, will happen soon.
I hate to break it to you, but this song is a remix of a 1991 game for the SNES called "F-Zero". It is a science fiction racing game that kicks ass. I suggest you try it out.
I actually had the original Port Town music stuck in my head from the original f-zero as I recently replayed some of the game on my switch thanks to the online service having so many SNES games available. I search for the song and listen to the original for 3 minutes and then saw your cover right underneath in the same search results. I like the original more, but I also like this cover as well.
@KingMeteorStudios Sounds pretty good, honestly. Sounds a LOT like the samples my Yamaha keyboard uses. I may look into this if I can't get an MU100 external.
I am working on a port town remix on 30 dollar website, and so far it sounds pretty good (to me). Your remix is teaching me about the small and big elements of port town, and the remix is coming along great so far. I just want to say: thank you. There are some things in my remix that could use some adjustments tho. Edit: it’s almost done, i just need to find out how i can screen record
on windows the windows key + G will allow screen recording Idk if its top quality but can definitly work if there isnt an export option If the computer uses an nvidia graphics card you can do screen capture with nvidia software too im pretty sure
@King Meteor Studios, would it be possible you can show me how to create this track step by step and we can do a payment type of thing for the instructions? Want to learn music and this is one of those tracks I would like to learn about.
An F-Zero future can be made possible. Elevated racetrack above the city and futuristic cars with proper siding to protect the racers from falling off the track. Film the races and have people chime into the races weekly and place their bets. If I have the money and influence in time, I may just see that plan take place.

最強。
原曲の素晴らしいところがすべて残ってる。
ちゃんと主旋律をトランペットにしてくれたのがすごく良いです
数あるcoverの中でも文句なしにこれが一番だと思います。ありがとう。

Like how I didn’t see myself ramming my car into the sides of the Port Town track and exploding instantly?
what lmfao
That's stupid.
@@123TauruZ321 agreed.
@@guttaknight64 them blow ups were always traumatizing 😂😂😂
耳の栄養。定期的に聴きたくなるすばらしいカバー。
This takes me back to the early 1990s. I don't know why, but this MIDI arrangement gives me a feeling of science-fiction adventure from that era.

@@isaacsteen4828 Of course! I remember playing F-Zero on my cousin's SNES way back in the day.
I just LOVE the background beat. It's just always like BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM, right in your face, standing out, looking awesome.
In my opinion, this would be PERFECT for a new F-Zero game. :D
Yeah me too
Same here
Well, it was indeed PERFECT for F-Zero 99
We need an extended version of this at least 20 mins of this
GWOGaming That's why there's ListenOnRepeat
@teckwerks It's Yamaha MidRadio Player. It's kind of the bottom of the XG barrel, but it's the best I can do without spending a crapload of money.

6 years later, it's still up there, yessssz!

absolutely fantastic. Better than the SPC!
Can you make a longer version? I love listening to Port town while cleaning. 2 hours would be fine 😂
I had no idea Atari made a sequencer.
How ironic your comment is. The first Cubase was on Atari ST.
That is true...but it looked more like a MacOS program than it did classic Atari.
best midi theme for port town, love it!
That drum beat got my heart racing!
The Baseline is so Effin good!
This is a damn good rendition of a damn good track from a damn good game. Good job. Now all we need is an extended version.
This looks hard as fucking Hell to understand.
NOW THATS IS A KICK ASS SEQUENCING,WELL DONE!
I get the feeling of being in a car on the freeway during sunrise or sunset.
this remix is awsome FTW!!
IM IN LOVE !!! thanks god for talented people !
Make Sand Ocean as well please :) This one was quite awesome.
MIND BLOWN
Whew, that is some sexy sequencing. This doesn't sound like XG to me, though, unless it's an external module or something...?
If F-Zero had an animated series in the 90s, I think the music would sound like this!
God damn, incredible sequencing friend.
The drums are so fast in the song it sounds so good

This is very nostalgic for me
What is the name of the software used to compose music?
Thanks
amazing
Andale así es como me gusta, excelente
super cool!!
@KingMteorStudios even if it's true XG, still sounds pretty good, I love me some F-Zero :)
amazing!!!
Damn this is hype
Port towns theme is super underrated.
この疾走感たまんないですね
たまらん…
For some reason this song always reminded me of something from 7th Saga lol idk why though.
Makes me wish F-Zero races were real.
Me too.
@@rebelfleettrooper9881 I'll settle for an F--Zero future.

What soundfont is that?
+Carlo Nassar
Yamaha MidRadio XG. It's actually not a soundfont, it's an entire extension of MIDI with a bunch more features
+KingMeteorStudios I've downloaded some of your work from VGMusic before. I had no idea you were on UA-cam, though. Great stuff! :D
some how,i identify miself with this theme, and i dont know why....
