Aye I was the one who helped you with your camera, glad it's working out! The game gives you a bunch of quests here cause this is your last break before getting to the end when it's just story story and story all the way to the credits. Btw for that medicine quest all you gotta do is buy that mortar item from that moogle seller and you should complete it!
Thank you fam you definitely came in clutch with that setting change! And yeah stay tuned for the next ep I ended up figuring it out while I was editing this video 😅
Tifa's Triangle skill (Omnistrike, Rise and Fall, etc.) boosts the multiplier of the Stagger gauge when you use it during a Stagger window. It's a great way to boost damage output to set up Cloud's 2 ATB combat move since it will easily hit damage cap at this point. Get her up to 3 Chi/3 Concentration and then let loose, and you'll see multipliers of 200%+.
Bro I did it. Got myself a Christmas present..ps5 pro with the FF7 twin pack and crisis core reunion (prequel). Also planning to play FF16 which I’ve heard great things about lol. I’ve heard depending on the screen you have, ps5 pro is a must for Rebirth. I’ve had such a good time already. Thanks for the inspiration!
1:08:51 This game’s combat is so cool. Firing off attacks from all 3 party members at the same time and using that to stagger the enemy just looks so sick.
Merry Christmas bro. Another pro tip: When you ASSESS an enemy USE that knowledge to kill the mobs much faster. I noticed on those phantoms you used asses... it showed fire as their weakness... and you proceeded to just use physical attacks completely ignoring the enemies weakness and got obliterated. These enemies become easy once you figure out the weakness and how to balance it with healing. If your dealing less than 100 damage per hit at this point in the game then you are using the wrong attacks. You should be dealing thousands (if not hundreds at least) of damage per hit at this point in your game. I understand though that this is your first FF and the whole battle system and how to fight the mobs is all new to you so I can't be mad. I've platinum trophied 8 Final Fantasy's (including this one) and they use the same sort of battle system in every one. Same as in the weakness/strengths of each mob.
@@Sudas80when he Assess, he only basically reads the Yellow Text and ignores everything else which is definitely a waste. Ha, i’ve mentioned so many times to slow down and look to the right to read elemental weaknesses, etc. This is his first Final Fantasy and first play-through and he sometimes forgets that this game is NOT a hack and slash. He’ll get there eventually maybe. Lol
@@Clink2000 Yeah, reading & listening a bit more in general would definitely make things easier I think 😂 I get the feeling he hasn't played many rpg games at all not just FF.
Did not think we'd get another episode this side of Christmas. What a lovely Xmas gift, thank you. And BTW it's always fun watching the whack a box challenges seeing if you can beat your highscore. I got so aggressively addicted to trying to beat my own and get all the rewards. Kept having to have one more go 😂 Merry Christmas 😁 hope you and everyone watching have a wonderful few days 🎄
Rebirth is gonna BLOW his mind! Let’s gooooooo! But also before you get to Rebirth, make sure you play the DLC (Intermission) before you start Rebirth, after you complete this game.
Be careful when you see an ability with the red triangle exclamation point next to the name. I'm pretty sure those are unblockable and you have to dodge. Loving the run as always! God bless and Merry Christmas!
Merry christmas bro. You like that Tonberry? xD That's a very notorious random encounter in the original that if you're not expecting it, it just wipes your team quickly. The original ff7 is very unforgiving and not very clear as to what you should be doing. It's in that era where the game just is there and you're in it without a tutorial or waypoints, you just have to fumble through until you get it. Tonberry are just there to make it so much more heartbreaking when you forget to save and have to start from previous check point 3 hours ago.
The song you mentioned wanting to use for your intro is not a song you buy in-game and play at jukeboxes; it's from the FFVII Remake soundtrack, titled "A Broken World"
You should invest in HP Ups and MP Ups. You're too deep in the game for your HP and MP pools to be as low as they are 45:06 Summons are cool but I hardly use them. They're only useful against enemies with elemental weaknesses 46:24 Yup. As long as a character has Enemy Skill equipped that character will have extra commands in their Abilities menu. To learn Enemy Skills, the character with Enemy Skill materia equipped has to get hit by a specific attack by a specific enemy. Assessing enemies will tell you if an enemy has an Enemy Skill you can learn. I'll let you in on a bit of info tho: there's only 4 you can learn in Remake and they're not great
The Tonberry is no fucking joke...!!! They have been around since like FF5 or FF6 (can't remember but yeah, they have been in every FF game since then.) You definitely need to use some strategy to take them down.
The fight with the ghost. Okay saw your thumbnail for a future episode so you are way with the Rufus fight so miles ahead of me but two things I noticed. Tifa you used unbridled strength I think that's the ability and your attack with to rise and fall. You never used it. So I'm not sure if you're aware her attacks change and when you get rise and fall that's a powerful attack by tifa. If an enemy is staggered it will raise the stagger gauge higher and hit for heavy damage. Don't forget to look at those. Assuming you might play rebirth next it comes very handy and if you get true strike that's another stagger builder with heavy damage. Second you made that fight way harder than needed. Never seen you hit that phantom with fire. Take advantage of those weaknesses. Anyways I'm along for the ride on watching you grow in battle. It's a lot to take in I get it we've all been there. Good to see you grow some but I always gotta leave a tip to help u come along some. Almost done with this vid you'll probably be well into rebirth before I catch up but I am watching. Good luck 👍
Merry Christmas Eve y’all enjoy ❤🎉
Tonberry is the bane of every unprepared Final Fantasy player.

Just baffling how they turned the most boring and tedious 3 hours of the original, and turned it into a full 30 hour super fun story game. Just crazy.
