The most underrated peri/menopause expert anywhere on the internet period. Kari you are the best 👌 ❤
Wow!!!Now I know at least I am not dying 🤦🏾♀️😂
45 yr old mom here. U have literally saved my life and mental health. I am nearly experimenting all of these except 3.
So sorry! I have cycled through many of these over the years myself! I empathize! Happy I could help you in some small way with my content! Hugs!
From my own research, regarding women here in the USA, black women experience symptoms earlier and over a much longer period of time than white women - which doesn't make matters any better.
I’ve had blood work done and my OB said I’m totally fine. I’ve lost 40 lbs with out of the blue anxiety and depression. I feel helpless. Half of time all I want to do is cry and sleep. My husband doesn’t understand and think I’m using my anxiety as a crutch. I just feel alone.
Blood tests are often normal in early and even mid perimenopause. If you are over 35 it could be peri.
I've been through the same thing and I even visited an Endocrinologist, but she could find anything in the blood work.
My suggestion would be for them to look beyond that.
I was offered the chance to do a "24 hour urine," but by that time I was frustrated beyond all belief. I didn't want to do anything 🤷🏾♀️
OMG I’m almost 53 and am checking off nearly every thing in this video!!
Hi ma'am. You are doing a great job by guiding women through their most difficult times. I am 44yrs old and face almost all the problems. I attained menopause for 2yrs, but the cycle started again, making things worse for me. I have to take vitamin supplements and anti depressants. I felt like I am all alone but I can easily relate with the symptoms you have been experiencing. Thanks for the guidance and emotional support. I have been showing to female doctors for help, but most of them don't seem to understand. You are an angel to me, my emotional needs are satisfied by getting to know I am not alone in this journey. Many women like us hesitate to talk about it and can be easily misguided. Thanks for all your efforts Kari. Love you so much.
Hello, I am also experiencing so much of these Peri menopause symptoms. Did your antidepressant help? I’m curious and considering them myself. Thank you, I hope you’re feeling better. 😊
You are a great actress Number 3 Chest Pain, honestly that looked like real pain.
It's quite insult8ng that we are meant to put up with all of this for so long. It's quite miserable. God bless you Kari , keeping us going
This is a malady of its own. How can a natural phenomenon make one suffer this way? And what can one do to alleviate the syndrome?
Just shows how many symptoms us ladies can go through during this period of our lives.. Keep strong and thank you for providing the details and showing were not crazy ❤
Definitely not crazy but you are right we sure do go through a lot don’t we?😏
I suffer almost all of the other video and a lot of these too! I feel like a damn invalid most days! Nausea has set in work heartburn lately and it’s absolutely miserable!! Good luck to all of you and I will pray that relief will come soon!
Thank you very much .I thought am dying because I suffer from all nd much more
@@user-py5zk6gb6t so true! The new symptom for me in the past week or so is indigestion/heartburn, and ginger tea does the trick to erase it. But this morning, I had it and it was horrible and didn't have time to boil the water for the tea and steep it. Had to be at work, but then I remembered the ginger chews I had, so I had one, and it helped so much!
Yes, the confusion, can't multitasking, etc...
I had no idea...I seriously thought I was going crazy or dying of some rare disease.
I can't believe we have to deal with this BS everyday for so.very.many.years after so.very.many years of periods and all the BS that comes with that, all while staying productive with the day to day.
I feel like I have almost all the symptoms, have gone to the Dr's many times with no answers. Your videos opened my eyes and is a relief that nothing is ACTUALLY wrong.
We ladies NEEEEED to talk about this stuff so much sooner so that when it happens the suffering of us and those who have to deal with us is lessened, haha.
Thank you!
Disorientation. I thought I was losing it. lol. Thanks for letting me know I'm not alone. Love your channel, Kari!
Thank you for the videos. This is something no one ever talked to me about. The last year I’ve experienced so many of the 100 and thought something was really wrong with me. Grateful for knowing I’m not alone and that it’s normal.
I love that you are talking about all of this. It weird how we will discuss anything but Menopause!? Why is this still a thing we don't discuss?
I really have no idea but it’s about time we start isn’t it? It becomes less scary when you realize there are so many women going through similar experiences.
@@KariAnneWright It makes a huge difference to know the craziness of it all is... normal!
Omgggg my mom is 43 and she has intense gastric issues, constant acidity and chest pain...idk if it's perimenopause or what...im constantly tensed about her..I hope it's nothing severe!
I am 46 and I am in perimenopause and I just moved to a new city/town, and bought a new house. Let me tell you the stress of moving and cleaning up my previous home and getting it ready for selling by doing so many repairs and changes to the home we were living in, packing boxes, giving away stuff including kitchen appliances that are in good condition electronic items that are in good condition to goodwill, giving away furniture, and plus dealing with perimenopause symptoms like itchy skin, dry skin, missed periods, frequent urination , incontinence, constipation, diarrhea etc.. Was not an easy task
Wow! That’s a lot and likely very stressful. Moving is hard. I hope you enjoy your new home.
Well done Kari. Spot on
Thanks Kari! On point
So informative, I can totally relate
So informative, thank you ❤
I really really appreciate you!! You give the information in very simple words and so relatable.
Thank you for all this information. I've been feeling so defeated and depressed. It helps to know that all this crap is menopause-related. I do go in for regular checkups and preventive tests to be sure but this video has really helped me I'll be watching the other one too, at least I know I'm not alone.
# 42 - Bone and muscle loss.
So I am not going crazy and it is not all in my head, good to know.
So greatful for your videos.
Kari, you present a very serious topic in a fun humorous way, just what us long suffering ladies need..greetings from across the pond! 🙋🏻♀️🇬🇧
I don't have word. Thank u so much kari
Still experiencing only 1 so far! Thank God!
i love your videos!!!!!! thank you a lot
Thanks so much for your videos ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Kari as usual thanks for these helpful videos, they are so helpful. I have many many of these symptoms. I thought I was going crazy. Gas, anxiety, depression, hair loss and diarrhea when am out because of fear, paranoia are the worse. I pray we all find a way to cope with this MENOPAUSE!!!
Yes gas and diarrhea I'm experiencing, irritable bowls and certain food seems to trigger it
Thank you ❤️
Im so glad I found this. I swear I'm losing my mind. This is no joke. So messed up. Being a woman is just one long hormonal pile of bullshit! After birthing years this big smack in the face comes along and reminds us that our bodies have most definitely changed and we are now getting old. The anxiety and panic is the worst.
Thanks for such good info. I am 45, just 2 months back started having perimenopause symptoms. I was driving crazy with daily new symptoms. But after watching your video I got little relaxed that I am not the one who facing such strange symptoms. Ex vibration from foot
❤❤thank you for information perimenopauz.
I swear Kari, your mad face is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen😂❤. Love your videos! My sister and I are both in our 40s and have literally have all these symptoms. Her name is also Kari spelled exactly the same way! ❤
Well she must be awesome if we share a name!😁 If your name was Staci( my sister’s name) I’d be a bit creeped out!😂
@@KariAnneWright 😂 Keep doing the videos I adore them! You’re my new utube fave! Thanks for what you do!🥰

Hi Kari, merry Christmas and happy new year!
@@KariAnneWright ah thanks alot, I hope too, lol. and hope you have a good one too 💖💖💖
Thanks
Kari ur awesome and I swear everything you have mentioned I have. I started thinking I was dying or going crazy. Ur great and make me laugh too ❤
Bloody heck I already said I was screwed in the 1st video...what am I now 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️😰😰😰😥😥😥
Dry mouth has been an absolute killer for me!
Dryness seems to get us all
In one way or another. Dry eyes, atrophy, eczema etc. Ugh! Hugs!
I think I have experienced all these! 😅
Getting shorter, yes also. I used to be 5”6. Now i am 5”5.
Disorientation yes!
Kari, you’re awesome! I’m post menopause and my ocd is really bad lol, a few of the things thank god I haven’t experienced and don’t want to lol but you are speaking every woman nightmare. Thank you so much for your videos I totally understand how my body has changed. Thank you for taking the time to explain the new journey of our bodies so now I can show my husband what our new life is taking us through 🙏🏾❤️ you’re the best and saving so many marriage. Blessings to you always. Beautiful Queen!!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I appreciate them!🥰 Blessings to you as well. I suffer with some OCD myself.
I found myself turning all the spoons to face one way in the cutlery drawer this morning! A few years ago, I didn’t care less.
I'm 53 and a half still going through it.Thankyou for showing the effects of hair loss in women around my age.I do like the short wavy hair on you . Sometimes I wear a scarf around my head to distract from hair loss.I'm thinking of buying a wig but then I think what for??? Just wear a hat ;)
Does Sanity return after Menopause?? I swear the last I remember being sane and stable was before puberty. 😂😂😂
Lol I have a 10 year old right in the middle of puberty madness!😂 I sure hope post menopause brings sanity. I hit the menopause mark in March so fingers crossed.🤞
@@KariAnneWright the hardest is when the daughter is going through puberty while the mother is going through peri/menopause. My mom and I where never the same after this period. I never thought I’d be going through peri menopause under the same roof as my mom. 😩😩😩
My drs put everything that is basically on your list down to long covid I suffer with almost everyone of these symptoms thank you this has really helped 😁😁
I know this is old, but my perimenopause symptoms took right off after covid
@@JW-qz4jl hmm, but the question is, did covid set menopause off, OR was I already headed there, which made covid much harder and longer for me than others in my family?
Like I woke up onetime with severe heart palpitations and many times before that, but not quite as bad. Now I know where that’s coming from.
Thanks Kari for the information, its a life saver.i suffer from gastric issues and dizziness just before ny periods, I am 45 and still having regular periods but for fewer days and horrible PMS.
Oh no didn't know loss of depth perception was the menopause too! 48yrs old and today I spilt tea all over myself (and the couch) and tripped over the bin just like in the video! Great bit of slapstick there btw!
Oh my gosh
I trip on my own feet sometimes 😮
I must be fully concentrated
Like crossing a busy road ...
Otherwise my mind is already there ,
my body gets stuck in a door handle....
Forgetting to be aware.😊
Oh how I wish I could give at least half to my husband. Then I think I wouldn't wish this period in life on my worst enemy. This is really debilitating but your blog is a blessing to my sanity.
It can be debilitating. I’m having a rough go as well so I empathize. Wishing you peace and health! Hugs!
At least half of everything you name off I've got and that's how I know I go through this perimenopause junk and it is so uncomfortable😢
So true
Feeling overwhelmed.
I have lifestyle factors like number 1, my husband has Stage 3 Parkinson’s disease, so many of the chores are downloaded onto me. I have a health condition myself called PMR (Polymyalgia Rheumatica) which rhymes with Fibromyalgia, and both have similar symptoms like muscle aches all over the body, but PMR is a Vasculitis auto-immune disease and treated with prednisone, whereas Fibromyalgia doesn’t respond to prednisone. I also have ADHD and ASD so I am prone to overwhelm resulting in decision fatigue in terms of prioritizing. Late stage peri-menopause probably plays an added role in terms of going into brain fog several times throughout the day, crashing at inappropriate times, and then taking a while to figure out where I am at at that point and where I need to go. I am left with fewer hours in the day to get anything done, which is rage inducing.
Oh yeah its true i got all those premenopausal symptoms i hate it i thought someone is doing like a bad things on me loo oh i wish i could be Young again .. thank you for sharing this video
I’d keep my age and wisdom if I could just trash the annoying and worrisome symptoms!🤦♀️🙄
Hahaha Hahaha spot on with perception of space and clumsy 😅😊
I love you so much good job I am losing muscle in my leg what can I do to get it back
Squats and lunges are your best friends. I do cardio several times a week and I make sure squats and lunges are included. Man does it burn the legs. That’s how you know its working!😂
34 outta 50 on this one well my gp is getting an earful soon
Scary😢
I have the high cholesterol ..Dr said take fish oil pills
OCD!!! I have to check to see if I turned off water faucet before I leave home. I have actually forgotten! I've even came back home to check🤣❤️
@@KariAnneWright Wow!!! I've been in the shower and forgot to turn off sink. 😭🤣
Sore nipples started a year ago, more like burning sensations in the breasts.
Tick, Tick, Tick!!! Sooo many of these. Interesting about Restless Legs. Mine was initially triggered by anti depressants, we think. After menopause, OMG, they are extreme! On really strong meds for it. Even so, last night was bad! Tried to sleep 6 times, and had to get back up again to pace, stretch and jiggle the legs. 20 minutes rest all night. 😱🤯🤬. I'm a zombie today.
I have been so worried that something is horribly wrong with me, like cancer. I’m so glad I found your video and that I’m not going crazy. I am having facial flushing and a rash on my cheeks every single night at the same time. My face feels like it’s on fire. The next morning it’s mostly gone. I have had electrical shocks in my legs and arms. I’m only 43 but I honestly think perimenopause may be what is going on with me. I can’t ever think of anything I want to eat and when I do eat I feel awful afterwards. My digestion is so slow that I have acid reflux and stomach pain all the time. What is the solution though? This sucks. 😂
Thanks for No 7, I thought I get nuts😂
All but 9 of these. Yup, got diagnosed with fibromyalgia last year. Now I know better. Why doesn’t a female dr think of this?
Menopause and nutrition are not focused on in med school so sadly many doctors are uneducated on those matters and are often dismissive.😒
@@KariAnneWright It's sad!! You would think there would be more female doctors interested in this issue!
Hi Kari
You’re a Superwoman
Hugs
Lol Thank you but I am far from a super woman. I suffer pretty badly sometimes which is part of the reason for this channel. I want other women to know they are not alone. Hugs back.
Oh 😮 my
Can the pain in the lower back feel like a period pain that’s there constantly?
Menopause can cause all sorts of aches and pains including in the lower back but if the pain is persistent it is always best to have the doctor check it out to be sure.
Is this also for post menopausal?
I am 8 years post due to a traumatic stressful induced menopause . How long can these sunrooms go past post ?
Symptoms can go into post menopause. I still have a few symptoms hanging on.
How long does this continue after menopause?
It’s different for everyone so I could never answer that. I have some symptoms hanging on in post menopause and others have gone.
hi can menopause cause weight lost
It’s usually weight gain that is an issue during menopause. If your weight loss becomes excessive and worrisome a check up may be wise.
How can we treat blood sugar spikes in perimenopause
Through diet. You have to balance all of your meals with whole carbs, healthy fats and protein. I also keep my total fats under 40g and focus mostly on whole plant foods. I say mostly because I add tiny amounts of dairy protein.
OMG I have increased appetite one week then the next week no appetite
@@KariAnneWright 🤣🤣🤣 I thought I was sick with this on and off appetite thing
I had to have a hysterectomy I had a load of fibroids also endometriosis I still have my ovaries when my period was about to go off I had blood clots coming out they were the size of charcoal for the bbq Lucky for me my aunt was alive and had that happen to I have MS. So my clothes are chilling in my freezer for real.I have to stay cool.😘
Insane...I have 44 of 50 of these other symptoms to..its stupid.
It sucks for sure. I have many symptoms as well. I empathize. Sending healing vibes your way.
OMG!!! Am having at least 30 of these problems. As at now I went to my doctor two days ago. Am so weak in my legs, it feels like I don’t have energy to even walk. Blood test came out everything fine and still feeling like I have stomach flu. To be honest I can’t explain what am going through. am miserable now, don’t know what to think anymore. Even when I drink is like the water goes straight to my breast. HMMM!!! Is not funny at all. Any advice please .
Omg...this is exactly what I am experiencing right now I know you posted this a while back hope you're feeling better.
Lack of stamina yes also!
Is shortness of breath a symptom? I have episodes where I feel like just having a conversation and I’ll be winded like I’ve gone on a jog! I even had a cardio work up and according to the tests everything looked to be A Okay.
Yes it is! Sorry I did not add that one. It is mentioned in one of my other symptom videos. Breathlessness and air hunger both occur in perimenopause. I have this as well. Some days I feel as if I can’t get a proper breath in like my chest won’t expand enough to get enough air in. Other days just talking makes me winded. Weird and annoying!
@@Leeshiner5028 Smart! Low iron can contribute to this. Unfortunately my iron is fine.
@@KariAnneWright Ok! At least I’m not alone. So much of the symptoms I’ve been experiencing have had me thinking up the worst case scenarios like ALS or MS, I’ve spent a mini fortune trying to get answers and now I’m realizing much of this could all boil down to perimenopause. I’ll get some Iron...Thanks Keri!!!!
Do you think taking hormones to ease symptoms 😳 is helpful ?
Some of friends have been happy with the results.
I wonder if I should give it a go ?
If you are able to use hrt try it. I can’t use it. It’s not suitable for everyone but many find it helpful.
Hello how long does the paratheisa last. I wanna get back to mt life. Im so paralyzed with this feeling. I hate it!!
I understand. I wish there was an exact end date but we are all so different. I have a video on it that may help.
I'm 47 and in perimenopause since spring last year I started having discharge comming out from my left breast. I had my first memogram and everything is normal I even had a blood test around that time and everything is normal on the blood test. I belive my perimenopause is causing discharge to come from my left breast.
Anyone have a pressure feeling in their ear with ringing? I do but I also had low D (12). And I now have a high Parathyroid 135 and my calcium is a 9.5. Seeing an Endocrinologist now. I just want this ear pressure to go away, I just turned 50 in January.
if I only saw this video before I would have saved myself thousands of dollars going to the ER
