For the 2024 LV Raiders My biggest concern is the offensive coordinator. Luke Getsy period. Will Getsy work his offense around the strength of the players Especially the QB. What Getsy did with Bears wasn't good at all. Getsy is suspect of LV Raiders season. In my opinion. Good offensive system and great defense can win championship. Ravens did with Trent Dlifer.

AOC has, in my mind proved himself, given the ****show that the first half of the last season was with McD's clueless coaching, poor calls, no planning for the situation where AOC starts, an awful playbook not written for AOC, a weak O-line and loads of other factors. The second half of the season was cobbled together on the fly and given the circumstances - passed with flying colours! He persevered, he is intelligent, his pre snap reads will only get better and better (probably the most intelligent QB in the league), he is meek and fighting for this chance, accuracy is spot on, has the support of the team and coaching staff. Been a UK Raiders fan for 30 years and I feel that something very special might just happen this season.

Just based off of historic outcomes across the NFL, there's a very low chance Aiden will succeed. There's an incredibly low chance that either QB on this roster will amount to anything. That being said, once your roster is set, you need to operate under the assumption that your roster is good enough to win.
I said from the begin the starting qb job it's a battle of backups, we don't have a true # 1 - unless Aiden proves me wrong. Can we win with it sure, as long as the D is top notch. If it doesn't work out with either this year, you get the best FA qb or trade for one.

I think Allar can be had in the second round or later.
Prescott is going to cost way too much money for what you get. When the Steelers let Wilson go the Raiders should consider grabbing him. He only would cost 1.5 million for each of the next two seasons. He should be a consideration.

The QB situation is literally the only thing that gives me pause. But im choosing to put my faith in the fact that AOC gets all off-season to improve and he showed he was a fighter in college. That, and I put a lot of stock in the fact that Josh McCancer is gone and a natural born Raider is now at the helm. And the reality is, AOC is accurate and can put the ball anywhere on the field. His only issue rn is his pocket presence. He doesn't have to be mobile to be successful (cousins, stafford, goff, baker, etc). He just has to learn to be calm and focused in the pocket and he can dime dudes all day long. And if he can't get it done, then Minshew has the pocket awarness and the legs to extend plays so all these legit wepons and play makers can get open on broken plays.

We lost 2 games late in the season by 3 pts each. One game we couldn't even get a fg. I'm pretty sure that doesn't happen if Carr plays, how many goose eggs dud he lay in his last 4 seasons here? We were 8 total points from being 10-7. And if we just put a couple fgs up against Minnesota we would have been 9-8 and still made the playoffs. I'm pretty sure Carr makes that happen. And that's just those 2 late games. If Carr had started all season and the D played like it did, no reason to believe we wouldn't have won 11 games.
But that entire season "if" also comes with Josh McD still being a coach the 1st half of the season. So just stick with those 2 late games going the oppo direction.
If we are seriously looking for a QB in the 2025 draft, don’t expect a Ewers, Shedeur Sanders or even Carson Beck. Watch some CFB this year, particularly teams like Alabama, Miami, and Florida State. Jalen Milroe on Bama Cam Ward on Miami DJ Uiagalelei on Florida State. I believe these 3 QBs have lots of potential to be great starters and could make a splash this year in CFB.

We lost 2 games late in the season by 3 pts each. One game we couldn't even get a fg. I'm pretty sure that doesn't happen if Carr plays, how many goose eggs dud he lay in his last 4 seasons here? We were 8 total points from being 10-7. And if we just put a couple fgs up against Minnesota we would have been 9-8 and still made the playoffs. I'm pretty sure Carr makes that happen. And that's just those 2 late games. If Carr had started all season and the D played like it did, no reason to believe we wouldn't have won 11 games.
But that entire season "if" also comes with Josh McD still being a coach the 1st half of the season. So just stick with those 2 late games going the oppo direction.

You don't realise what we have in Aiden. He beat Drew Brees Completion % and would have beat his overall yards if not for 2020 injury. He is very good. If he is allowed to develop this year and next (before we consider moving on) I think you'll see. 2025 draft QBs SUCK. Aiden NEEDs a strong front 5 because of his style. Maybe Minshew can help him get more mobile. GIVE AIDEN 2 FULL YEARS (because the alternatives suck anyway)... WE NEED to get a better OLINE (hopefully this is it but I'm already worried about both LEFT and RIGHT side) .... I believe Aiden will get a 30 for 310 by 2026. Treat Aiden Like Carr, like an investment. we didnt have a winning season until 2016!
