Incredible! Elvis always had that 'look'. He always stood apart from the rest. It was as if there was no other route for him to take but the one we all know him for. Great video...
Thanks so much! Absolutely love this "Elvis History". I will be smiling all day after seeing those pictures of Elvis. Thank you for your efforts! I will never tire of learning about Elvis.
These are incredible photos! I love how you do the comparisons of today vs. the photos. It is almost like seeing a vision into the past right before our eyes. These are really terrific videos. Thank you!
These Elvis-related places and structures you visit are as legendary as Elvis himself. So glad they look as fresh as they did back then. Thanks for all that you do.
I remember reading the words of a young woman who attended high school with Elvis in Memphis. She said that her most distinct memory of him was seeing him walk along the sidelines of a high school football game alone.
Guter Sender Danke fürs Video, deine historische Darstellung ich habe habe in 80 er Jahre schon elvis geforscht . Und seit her bin groser Fan, Anhänger danke 🤗🤫🤫
I love your channel. You always get the best puzzle pieces. We all need this. Love to know everything about elvis. Wo. He really lived a life of 4people in such a short time. Unbelievable. GOD BLESS and stay safe. SG
Billy my father passed away Sunday and the one thing that has been helping me deal with it is watching your videos. Dad was a life long Elvis fan and still wore those signature sideburns till the day he passed
I absolutely lovd these series of videos, i cant wait for more. This is the best series of info on elvis i have ever seen ... thank you very much for doing them spa guy !!!
Thank You so much David, I really enjoy researching and making these videos and seeing the places in person makes them more real.. I have many more on the way.. Spa Guy
Jerry Shilling played football with Elvis, but don't know if any of the guys would be him or not. He was younger, but evidently a good player that Elvis kept him on his team. Or at least that is what Jerry Shilling says in his book. Interesting and so fun to know that some of the houses are still there. You are the best at finding these places Billy and it lets us visually put the puzzle together. Love it!
fantastic video, really love these "before and now" series you do. Elvis playing football may seem trivial to some, but to me it is a great way to see Elvis being a regular guy doing fun stuff. It is just great to see where it all happened at. Keep up the good work, next time I come to Memphis I am going to make it a point to drive by all these places you are showing. thanks again spa guy.
Hi Billy,Sad Elvis shy off from 1980's and 22 century Elvis would had these media and phones we got today Elvis I think would of seen over millions of his past photos and shy off the media all his fans we could red our messnagers on his phone . Fascinating looking on of pass Elvis when he was last at that era and area love him so miss Elvis another year going pass with out him 💔💝. Thank you Billy for this amazing photos . Here in Sydney Australia 15October 22 .
I spent the day in Memphis in '92, met a guy at the coffee shop who said he played football with Elvis, thought he was fibbing but after seeing this I believe it. He might be on these pics. Great job !
Such wonderful and amazing photos of Elvis. You truly have some treasures there. Thank yiu for going that extra mile to find those and this place. I've always windered about it. Even if you didnt know who the kid was in those photos you just would have to have a feeling of greatnes from him. The ine picture where you can see his fingers and hand , ys just know he would have been a piano or guitar player and he did. Thank you so much and a special thanks to whoever showed you the photos. I'm smiling so big right now! Amazing!!
Spa Guy, you are absolutely amazing with these videos about Elvis. The “ Then and Now” ones are my favorite with the pictures of where Elvis actually had been. So fascinating. Please keep up the great work putting these pieces of the Elvis puzzle videos together!😊
I love all the research that you do and how you manage to find things no one else can or has ever bothered to find. When you do these video's you take us right back in time to the actual places if they are still there and if not, where they were. I would love to spend one day in Memphis with you. You would make a great tour guide.
I really enjoy how you go out and back up everything you say. You just don't say something and then go on to another subject. You prove it or disprove it. Great channel great videos keep them coming.
I've seen comments criticizing you and Trey for these videos. I love them. Like the houses across the street. In Memphis its a miracle they are still standing. Memphis 1956, was a nice place back then. The houses will be destroyed one day ,these videos will last forever. Thanks a great find 😊 God bless you Billy and Trey.
I know you didn't really mean that since you are disingenuous but I do appreciate you watching.. Lol... I am working on many more so stay tuned.. Spa Guy
Great video Spa Guy ❤ Elvis had a lot going on that year, in 1957, one year later his mother passed, making him a broken man and I think that changed him because I believe his mother kept him in line also with girls and all. He was really a sportive guy, also in his fourties you could see him playing football in Hawaï.
These videos are so amazing. Thank you so much for sharing! I’m sure I’m. It alone in saying that We appreciate all the time and effort put into these incredible videos. A lot of thought, research and details go into these and it shows. Incredible
i appreciate the work you do. i wush i could have met elvis i was born 1968 sep. so lisa is 6 months older than me. he was and is still the best singer ever
Hi Spa Guy, Great video ! You are so lucky to visit all these Elvis related places! I love your picture comparison's as it show's how some things have changed over the years and other things look exactly the same.
Great photos. That is exactly where I saw Elvis playing football when I was a kid. This was known as Guthrie Park. Guthrie Elementary was there at the time. My grandmother lived close by on Kney Street. My cousins came running into the house shouting, "Elvis is in the park!" I didn't really know who he was, but I ran along. Everyone was watching him toss a football.
you are a pretty good singer! and i love watching youre video's. i am a great fan off Elvis and someday i hope to visite all the places you went. But Graceland is the nr1 on my list. Thanks for making these video's and taking us with you on your trips!
Thank you so much for all your hard work. I've been an Elvis fan all of my life and watching your videos is fascinating. It's unbelievable just how long ago it was.
Love the videos bill. You seem to amaze me every time. I never knew elvis was into football. 🏈 If elvis was into any other sports can u do anthoner video? Thanks Bill.😎
Very cool! I enjoy your videos also. Would love to see Elvis - Nashville related stuff too. I went there two years ago and RCA Studio B was a thrill. You can really feel Elvis in that room just like at Graceland. :)
Thanks for watching blizzardbaby.. I have not filmed at Studio B but I will I have also found some other Elvis related places in Nashville that I am working on.. for Elvis I have focused on Memphis and Mississippi so far.. Spa Guy
It makes it VERY interesting when you can put new photos to old photos and still see homes, buildings or whatever the case may be, still standing today. It reminds me of then and now photos of the house they used in the beginning credits (or ending) of Archie and Edith Bunker in "All In The Family"!
Thanks Spa Guy, I’m actually re-watching some of your videos because they’re awesome. Question on this video...Is this location also Guthrie Park? Thanks!
Cool ! Man..great investigative work Spa Guy ! Interesting at this time just before dating Dorothy 'Dottie' Harmony, he was also briefly seeing Marilyn Evans another Vegas show girl at the beginning of Dec '56...he also took her back home, she was present at the Million Dollar quartet session..he was also dating Barbara Hearn then at this time his steady girlfriend. She was hugely upset that Elvis turned up for Christmas with Dottie, as you can imagine ! He tried to make it up to her, the gold Lame vest that Barbara had made for him, he wore prominently on the Sullivan show in Jan '57.. He was a busy boy..
Jerry Schilling might be in some of those pics at the ripe old age of 14, that's how he met Elvis in 54', Elvis asked him to play football. Right there.
Thank you Elizabeth.. I am releasing another tomorrow morning.. I am working on many of them so I have a bunch in the works.. Don't forget to subscribe.. Spa Guy
Spa Guy I love the videos of Elvis. Brings back alot of memories from the past. Thanks for sharing with all Elvis fans. I still love and miss you Elvis 💖
