Las Brisa's inspiration came from Southern California living. Easy going and open skies. Right away at the introduction Manny uses an extended 13th chord great for transition and creating anticipation as the tune starts with its melody of Sunny California. This song can be performed instrumental or you can tacet the Flute and muted trumpet and let your singer do the lyrics. The lyrics are in Spanish so make sure you have either a native speaker or someone who can pronounce the language well. To gain momentum at the end Manny modulates the main melody by a half-step creating a yet more exhilarating feel at the end.
