Visto il periodo estivo e il solito mal funzionamento del frigo trivalente, ho deciso di far vedere nello specifico come utilizzare il frigo ELECTROLUX RM4400 ormai datato ma ma ancora presente il molti camper low cost, il frigo è totalmente manuale.

Buongiorno ottimo video, molto interessante, Volevo chiederti ma il piezoelettrico del trivalente Dove si trova a delle batterie? O funziona con la 12v/220
Ciao Fabrizio! Non so che modello di frigo hai tu, ma solitamente lo trovi attaccato al bruciatore insieme alla termocoppia. Poi in base al modello funziona a 12v oppure a tasto (tipo accendino, premi e fa la singola scintilla ogni volta che premi il tasto)
Ah ecco Io onestamente non lo uso a gas ma a 220 quando arrivo in campeggio era una curiosità, volevo accenderlo in quel modo con la bombola a gas per mantenerlo in allenamento diciamo però quando schiaccio il tasto Non fa proprio più niente va fino in fondo morbidamente senza fare né un click e né sento il rumore tipo dell'accendino eccetera probabilmente c'è qualcosa che non va sul piezoelettrico, dove tu dici Sta nel bruciatore quindi devo controllarlo da fuori smontando i telaietti dove ci sono le feritoie per la ventilazione Grazie mille per la risposta

Ciao Marco e grazie per questo video. Mi ha chiarito molti dubbi. Infatti ho proprio questo frigo, identico (a parte la ventilazione).
Ma ancora non mi è chiara una cosa, sul pannello di controllo ho un tasto con il simmbolo del refrigeratore. A cosa serve? Il frigo, a motore acceso, va a 12 v indipendentemente dalla sua accensione, ossia il tasto rosso del 12 v sul frigo si accende anche quando questo tasto sul pannello è spento. Quindi? Non riesco proprio ad arrivarci.
Ciao Pietro! Il frigo va a 12 V se è in posizione di accesso, se attivo su 12v e se il motore è acceso

Ciao , volevo chiederti ,il camino del frigo la parte superiore dove si attacca il raccordo angolare che va alla griglia è mobile e se lo prendo con le mani e lo tiro si sfila , non avendolo mai smontato prima, chiedo è normale che si muova o c è qualcosa che nn va? Considerando che il frigo funziona bene , raffredda bene grazie ciao

Hello my friend , i have exact model fridge on my camper van that recently i own. Problem is that freezer will work but normal fridge will not cool. Should i hear any noise (compressor) one hooked up to 12 or 220V? Gas also will not make sparkle/flame. I am struggling to understand why refrigerator only working (it takes time) but not normal fridge. I opened the 2 openings on the back and the bottom i can feel hot. On the top there are 2 fans but would not run.
Any tips/advises would be much appreciated!
Hello! First of all, keep in mind that that refrigerator does not have a compressor, at 12v and 220V it works through an electric resistance that heats up (as it does when you set it to gas).
The fans probably have a switch to turn them on. Also I advise you to check all the fuses.
If you can start it on GAS, 12V and 220V but it only cools the freezer part and not the fridge part, unfortunately this is not a good signal.
Remember that above 35 degrees Celsius, all refrigerators of this type cannot cool very much, also remember to always keep it in the shade and in the hottest moments, remove the grids and turn on the fans.
@@CamperAdventures Thanks so much for information. Temperature is about 32C in Greece and camper van is mostly in the shadow. I do not see if there is any fuse to replace, i have access to the fridge by 2 back panels in the van, i do not see any broken cable or anything.
If i touch the pipe on the bottom vent panel it feels very hot and slowly slowly it expands to the rest of the metal to the left. Does this metal also control the fridge to cool down? Inside fridge the metal might get cold a little bit if i touch but after 6-7hrs so it is not normal.
I know that it takes time to cool, but when you switch on how much time would feel cold the fridge and how much time for freezer?
Finally there is something very important i forgot to mention that i believe is custom from previous owner, maybe this is the problem. Inside the fridge there is a thermostat control (like normal house fridges) from 0-8 scales. I know that this model does not have control on 220,12V it will always keep standard temps . This thermostat have 2 cables that are not connected to anything and i do not see any option to connect. I believe that previous owner "cut" the standard temp system and installed a thermostat to control the temps.So this cables i believe should connect with the normal 12V power cables. This is just a theory , cause also in 220V the fridge will not work
@@darkovsky If the fridge heats the outer plate it means that the system works (it heats outside to cool inside). Keep in mind that a refrigerator of that type, when empty, takes 24 hours to cool down well and if it is very hot even more. Unfortunately, I find it difficult to help you with the internal thermostat added by the old owner. To check if it works at 12v and 220v, turn on the fridge with one of the two functions and hear if the external plate heats up (you have to wait at least 1/2 hours)
@@CamperAdventures Thanks so much again for your reply it helps a lot to understand 3 way type of fridges. So from what i understand it works ok (get's hot in the back) but i might need to wait at least a day or two from what i read from other people to reach good temps cool down. One more thing to understand if it's working ok. Is it normal that the freezer will get a good cool down temp even in 3-4 hrs but the fridge not at all? The back metal plate inside the fridge feels cold a little but doesn't help. Based on your opinion when you turn on the fridge for first time does the inside also get cold or only the freezer and then the rest after lot of hours wait?After reach good down temps does it consume the same wattage or it drops? (cause.i am on 12V and solar panels so in the night at the moment i have to switch off)
@@darkovsky It is normal, the freezer part cools down much earlier in the fridge part. The freezer will feel cold after a few hours, the fridge will feel cold after many hours, after 24 hours or more you will get a good temperature.
You wrote me that you run it on 12V during the day, but that fridge only runs on 12V if the engine is running, unless you or the old owner have made some changes.
At 220V it consumes 125 watts at 12V 120 watts which is 10 amps per hour. I advise you to run it on GAS.

Ma è collegato alla BM o alla BS quando va a 12V?
Ciao! Diciamo che fisicamente è collegato alla BS ma sotto relè che si attiva asolo quando il motore è acceso, quindi quando la BM e la BS sono in parallelo
@@CamperAdventures grazie, così in effetti ha senso; forse fanno eccezione la luce interna e l'accenditore gas che probabilmente sono collegati direttamente alla BS per andare anche a motore spento
@@avvocatidalvoltoumano esatto! Quello può variare dal modello... Per esempio quello del video che è vecchiotto non ha luce interna e il piezoelettrico è a tasto (tipo accendino)

Ciao Andrea! Ti riporto di seguito quanto viene descritto dal manuale, ma quando fa tanto caldo ti consiglio di tenerlo a metà potenza per evitare il troppo surriscaldato.
REGOLAZIONE, TEMPERATURA
I numeri di posizione fanno riferimento alla figura 3, Coman-
di. Una volta messo in funzione il frigorifero, ci vorranno
alcune ore perchè si raffreddi.
Quando il frigorifero funziona a 230 V, è comandato da un
termostato e la manopola del termostato (C) deve essere
regolata su 3-5. Se si desidera una temperatura più bassa,
impostare il termostato su un numero più elevato.
Quando a 12 V, il frigorifero funziona continuativamente.
Quando il frigorifero funziona a gas liquido, si regola la
temperatura con il termostato del gas (E) che deve essere
impostato su 3-5. Se si desidera una temperatura più bassa
(più freddo), impostare il termostato su un numero più
elevato.
Come tenere il frigo nel rimessaggio? Spento o acceso
Ciao Giovanni! Spento e porta a porta per evitare muffa e odori sgradevoli.. Ovviamente se trivalente conviene accenderlo almeno un giorno prima per avere una buona temperatura il giorno della partenza.
Il mio frigo trivalente non funziona a 12v non so cercare per trovare il fusibile .
Ciao Diego, dipende dal tuo camper, solitamente il fusibile del frigo e insieme agli altri nella centralina
