RIP Matthew Saad Muhammad, one of the greatest LHW champs in history!
Indeed he was. 1love
These guys were men, tough as nails and didn’t play the victim role as today’s young youth do,so much respect.
Abandoned as a child and abandoned as ex champion he would become homeless...R.I.P. Champ.
Despite the KO, you could see Matt was not the fighter he once was. He was slower, wider with his punches and missed many open shots. He also began throwing a strange left hook/uppercut in this fight that took forever to get there. He still had the punch but even that left him not long after this bout.
Saad made A LOT of people rich. Set them for life.
13:13 One of the most bizarre falls I've ever seen. Delayed reflex. lol 😂
I Was a Huge Fan of Saad! I wish he had achieved all his goals...RIP🏆
Where can we find his boxing vedios from Getty Boxing Gym / Sidney Australia?
The ref should have stopped the fight the moment he turned his back. Should not have let it continue. Saad Muhammad was a warrior!!!
Why they only showing my uncle getting knocked out 🤷🏾♀️
What you say this the only one they got up
17-10 gets a 6 ranking? Don King right
6 is pushing it, but I used to see him on some cards in the 70's and we was thrown to the lions on the way up, won some, lost some, and hit a bit of a stride at this point. Pretty legit dude with a crappy record. But by the late seventies and early 80's, you'd have to be pretty good to beat McIntyre.
You can't always tell from a record.
He was actually a beast with a very deceiving record. Sandwhiched between all of his losses are several upset wins over undefeated contenders and former champs.
Peter McIntyre..the beefed up version of Aaron Pryor...lol...looks like him a bit!
Thanks for this upload
This was the last significant win of his career. He though he won. He looked slow and in reality, was a shot fighter at that point. It was completely exposed in his next fight, the rematch with Qawi. Rest In Peace Champ.
Saad was still very dangerous at this point, even after the beating by Braxton! It's great to watch this one because it's the best picture I've seen yet... and great biography at the beginning too!
Great video.
Never in a boring fight.all heart.
Shows what a good boxer he was ,slipping a lot.
