Thank you again for making me hungry with your videos of sumptuous buffets featuring you and your son. Thanks to your husband for taking the videos. Also a BIG thank you for NOT making an "April Fools Day" video as two of the cruise vlogers I watch have done. These are serious times in the world now and that type of humor doesn't really make me laugh. Thanks for keeping your videos informative and I hope our July 26th 7 night Bermuda trip will still be on for my wife and I.
I'm not a very adventurous eater, so I only saw a few things I would eat. I don't know what most of it tastes like. I didn't see anyone using the hand sanitizer.
There was a sanitizer station at the entrance of the buffet and a crew member was always there spraying people's hands as well if they rather do that instead.
@@mwood65 Believe me, I was hoping to see dish after dish to drool over. Maybe they just showed part of the buffet. I don't know. The only cruise we've been on was Princess to Alaska. We really enjoyed it There were some foods I wasn't familiar with, but most I did and there was a pretty good variety. Some of the newer Princess ships look like they have buffets that go on forever. We do want to go on a Canada/New England cruise, but haven't decided on which cruise line to use. I was reading reviews about last year cruises to Canada/New England on Princess and there were complaints about the amount of food in the main dining room. They were especially disappointed about the size of the lobster during 2 dinners and the fried chicken consisted of 2 small pieces of dark meat. So I guess Princess is cutting back. With the COVID-19 problems, I'm wondering what future cruises are going to look like. Someone was saying maybe no more buffets. That would make me very unhappy. The only time we ate in one of the dining rooms was at night. We only ate a lunch meal once after an excursion in Ketchikan and a lunch in Skagway with our daughter. Our daughter was working at Effie Jewelry in Skagway for 6 mos. She made great money, but was on her feet 12 hrs a day with only occasional days off. It was a very quaint town with wooden sidewalks. You felt like you were back in the gold rush days. I hope you're doing fine. Stay well!!! We will get through this time.

I wish I could be like that, I stay in a food coma the entire cruise.

I agree. I think they lower the quality of the buffet to guide you towards the restaurants that cost extra. I'm still going to cruise 😆😆
What's gonna happen to buffets? RIP buffet.
I'm pretty sure they will continue to exist. 🙂 I can see where the crew will serve guests at the buffet more- like what Holland America does.
I love it
