Thanks for the great video. Yours is the first demo of this Squire baritone that I’ve actually found useful. Most of the other players on YT just play super distorted metal through their arsenal of pedals, which is not my thing and tells me nothing about the sound of the actual guitar itself. The tones that you’re getting on this have convinced me that it’s definitely a guitar that I can use. I can’t really justify spending a fortune for a baritone, but it looks like this is in the perfect price range. Thanks again for the great demo, and the superb playing - I really enjoyed it.
Thanks so very much Robert C…glad you enjoyed the video and found it useful to you! Truly appreciate the kind words and hope you enjoy your “bari’ once you receive it! Lot’s of fun to play this Cabronita…😎
Thanks so very much Jorge!! Really do appreciate you watching and commenting! I will do what I can to put up some of that “extra” blues jam footage. Thanks again for stopping in and watching/commenting! Much appreciated…👍🎸
Jimmy - You're back at it! Glad you're still putting out these great vids in the studio there. You are a National Treasure! Really cool, and interesting guitar. Very different, and that will definitely add to what you can do. Some punchy little bass tones coming out of that thing. I dig it! And great playing, Jimmy! Keep the good stuff coming, Brother!
Thanks so much Jimmy….always appreciate your stopping in! It’s a great lil’ geetar….😎 I really like the low end sounds with these pups…thanks again for watching and commenting! 👍🎸
Those pickups alone were worth the price of admission, the guitar not only looks amazing, those pickups are some of the best 90s I've ever heard,I can see you borrowing them to try in one of your jags, what is the actual scale length of this beauty,it really rocks, nice one Jimmy.
Thanks so much for watching and commenting 2Daze…the pups in this are amazing…👍 The scale length of this is a 27”, unlike the Gretch or Dano which come in at close to 30”
Cool video, Jimbo…never knew these existed! Sounds gorgeous and it does sound familiar to me that in fact I have heard them before just never knew I was. Thanks for the video and the full run down. Great demo as usual. Stay well…and warm.

Great review and another shootout of this Squire with P90’s vs the IYV and Firefly versions? Informative, entertaining and FUN! Keep ‘em coming’! Great “sale” info and thanks for passing along!
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it! Would be hard to do a type of “shootout” with those suggested guitars, as the Paranormal is a baritone, so pickup comparison would be tough, but there are other ways to “skin the cat” so they say..😎
@@JimmyStewart1 You could going into a demonstration of the differences unique to each instrument. The tonal possibility and possibly when a baritone guitar was used and we didn’t even know it. I read somewhere that Glen Campbell used one on the recording Whiticha Lineman? Really look forward to your posts.
Jimmy, here’s another question that’s completely off the subject. I just mentioned guitar great Glen Campbell was not only a “Guitar God” but a member of the Wrecking Crew of studio musicians. What is so confounding is that he didn’t read music. Can you explain how was able to achieve such renown. I know it’s not a review and possibly out of your wheelhouse but I have a feeling there’s so much information stored away in your head that you could spend your every waking minute answering questions but thank you.
@@mjvicc1952 Yep!! Yes, so the solo Glen played in that track he indeed used a baritone, however there has been debate as to if Glen played it himself, or if Carole Kanye played the baritone solo. They were of course both part of the original “Wrecking Crew” studio musicians who played on just about every hit record in those days!
@@mjvicc1952 Ha!! While I was answering the 1st question, you were responding with this! Glen was incredible….along with all those from the “crew”….right place, right time, and willing to work no matter how long, or who it was. Most producers will take “talent” over sight reading every time! 😎

Great video Jimmy! About a year ago I was watching a demo of this guitar on another channel. He had the Carbonita and the Gretsch G5260T. Both sounded great IMO. I was curious about them and wanted to try one out. Of course as you mentioned the Carbonita is hard to find but I did find a shop here in KC with both the Gretsch G5260 and G5260T. I got to play them both and loved the way that they played and sounded. I had to stop myself from buying one at the time. I love the sounds that you can get out of these. You can play anything from metal to country on these. Truly versatile guitars. I will be purchasing one at some point, just want to try out the Carbonita first. Please make a part 2! Thank you for the demo and have a great weekend.
Never had a chance to play the Gretsch models…they look pretty nice but I opted for a bit shorter scale and single coils. Thanks so much for watching and commenting Tim!! Always appreciate it when you stop in! 👍
Thanks so much for watching and commenting Bob!! The Cabronita Baritone is a unique guitar for sure! As I state in the video, mine was flawless!! The sunburst is very nice too! Good luck in whatever you decide, and thanks again for stopping in! Much appreciated! 👍

Oh I watched these videos out of order - but boy am I glad I came back for a look. GREAT review/Demo Jimmy, thank you! What a wonderful sound! How would you rate the sunburst against this? Is the spec the same? The sunburst is E100 cheaper over here and Im MIGHTY tempted after your two wicked videos, thanks again!
Thanks so much….there is only the two finishes available, the surf green like mine and the sunburst. I went surf green mostly because I have a number of sunburst guitars already, and thought a surf green would be fun! The specs are identical outside of the finish. Pricing for me was also identical, but if for you the sunburst is 100 Euro less, then that would certainly peek my interest!! Truly appreciate your stopping in, and good luck with your decision! Even finding one in stock was exciting for me! 👍🎸
