Both Trypticon and Metroplex are great warriors to sacrfice theirself for their army but one was forced and other one wanted to sacrfice himself it shows different personality between Megatron and Optimus but both are great leaders

Metroplex was the most honorable and selfless of the titans. He not only could become a fortress to protect and repair the autobots, or fight personally for them... or just lay dormant till he was needed, no matter how long... as titans often do... hed do whatever he could for his brethren without pause or concern of himself.
megatron was never a good leader.

@@TECH097 Megatron is a terrible strategist, he's never hesitant to sacrifice as many of his soldiers as he needs to. The only reason he's winning is because his army is greater in numbers than the autobots, and in his back story he was good enough a talker to get people riled up

Imagine the mental burden the Autobots (especially Optimus) have to deal with throughout this war. Loosing such great loved ones and and watching their planet get consumed by war, nearly consuming Earth as well. I cry just thinking of it. Optimus is so strong to cope with it all and still be a better leader than we could hope to have here. I wish we could elect Optimus Prime for president 😆
I would say the mental stress was self inflicted by the autobots. They had the advantage at the start ( war for cybertron) but they blew it -
1. Zeta was too cocky, they had info of dark energon from jetfire ( who probably also knew about the energon line that supplied the outpost to manufacture more dark energon) but still didn't try to stop it.
2. No major autobots helped omega supreme during his fight with megatron or even tried to stop megatron from entering the core.
3. The high council was the biggest burden on the autobots.
4. Kept megatron's body intact so that deceptions could reactivate him and waste metroplex's efforts.
5. Could've made metroplex transform into a ship like trypticon instead of using a non-combat vessel like the ark which couldn't even be moved in case of an attack.
6. God knows what happened to omega supreme.
I know since the player controls both sides, they both have to win and has to mess up somwhere and according to the lore , the reason autobots are even on earth is because they lost to the decepticons, so making the autobots to make better decisions could disrupt the lore. But in a real life situation without lore constraints, i believe the autobots could've done better.
@@akshayvinodnair Not to mention that optimus should’ve killed or captured the remaining decepticons rather than allowing them to escape to fight another day. Literally their entire leadership was there, Starscream, soundwave, the combaticons, etc

@@illyanesterenko8930High Moon the developers for both Cybertron games wanted them to be part of G1 but Hasbro wanted to cash in on a new continuity so they decided to just mash their TF projects together back in the 2010s at the time with TFP being one of them obviously even tho the creative team behind the show wanted to have their own continuity

To be fair, I expect he said the second part as more of a way to try to dissuade Metroplex from sacrificing himself, than that actually being his reason for not wanting Metroplex to sacrifice himself.
Gotta agree with @@Raganui here. Seemed like he was trying to logic Metroplex out of sacrificing himself on the off chance that it _might_ work, rather than gamble on sentiment dissuading Metroplex instead of galvanising his determination.

I don't feel bad, because I know both Him and Trypticon show up in Season 3 of the G1 cartoon, so that helps me feel better.
Still though, my heart squished itself when I saw this cutscene. Like, I felt physically unwell when he just slumped over like that.
This is part of the aline continuity which is separate from the G1 timeline, I know I'm a month late
The cybertron games exist in the timeline of transformers prime. And so far they haven’t made it back
It would seem that the game is about transformers, someof the adult nerds will say that for children, but how strong and heavy is this scene. I felt something similar in Cyberpunk 2077 when I said goodbye to Johnny...F to Metroplex!

I think a sequel would be set on Earth while Cyberton is featured in DLC.
My thoughts is that the ‘Bots and ‘Cons are navigating modern day Earth continuing the war albeit in a diminished state.
The DLC would be the Dinobots waging a guerilla war against the Deceptions that were marooned on Cybertron.

Dude, energy is everything for Tranaformers, so when runs totally out like Metroplex did , stasis lock begins. Basically like a coma. Until someone comes up to Metroplex with a whole lot of Energon to give, he is frozen forever.

He’s inactivated due to the lack of energon. Unfortunately, due the amount of time cybertron spent cold and drained of energon, he’s probably rusted away.

Dead, he said it himself, "use my spark". Prime knew that Metroplex's energon wasn't enough for the Ark and so do Metroplex, that's why Metroplex said to use his spark.
It’s called stasis lock. Basically if he was a human he is in a coma. So yes if someone comes along with enough Energon to fuel him up, Metroplex will wake up. Cybertronians are very hardy and difficult to kill
It would be really nice to have a sequel to this canon story and not that dark spark or whatever game it was.
