I have been listening to this on repeat. It's different and so good. Might be one of the best.
When I watched them live recently the guitarist screamed everything. So I actually think this is 2 layers of his and the guitarist.
Vessel & II are the only musicians on the album. Vessel sings & plays all the instruments except for the drums on the albums. The bassist and guitarist only play live with them.
@@jamesschultz8260 how do you know this? Interesting
@@despairstories603 I’ve read about it. Plus if you look at the credits for every song, it says Vessel1 next to every instrument and then for drums it says Vessel2
@@jamesschultz8260 not on this album. They got someone special for guitars. 😇
@@Eyeyamgod nope. Read the credits. Not sure if you use Spotify or anything like that. But for every song on ALL of their albums it says: Vocals-Vessel1, Guitar-Vessel1, Bass-Vessel1, Keyboards-Vessel1, Drums-Vessel2
This is one of those songs that you grow into after a few listens. I heard it immediately after it came out and enjoyed it, but was left puzzled a little. After easily 15-20 listens, I freakin love it
when the clean vocals come in for the first time it sounds a lot like Rosemary by Deftones
I love how they are reminiscent of a periphery or a loathe. They change it up they keep my attention and I've been on love with that band for years. They are beyond my style. I love chaos in music and this is aces.
Also, you will always be my favorite for these types of videos. Your truthfulness is enviable and much appreciated.
Thank you, that is very kind of you to say!
@@RichardJanvrinYTwhere true shot??
They have a song on their first album called Gods where Vessel is screaming. It’s not as good so he’s worked on them a lot. I really enjoy this one, Granite is still my favorite though. I think this album is easily shaping up to be my AOTY.
Really good to see you back on UA-cam, Rich, missed your vids! Glad to see your face again.
Thank you!!
gotta appreciate the mouth sounds and swallowing in the intro
LMAO
I hear chewing too 😆 nice ASMR before your eardrums are obliterated
Yes it’s Vessel screaming, he does all vocals on the recordings and IV helps with live screams. He’s only just started doing Vore live but he does still scream and IV backs him up. You can tell the difference between their screams too. 🖤
Also prefer This to the summoning. Great reaction man
I'm trying to study but with this out its so hard
Such a sick track!
Once i looked the lyrics up, the screams are befiting, who ever is screaming, i hope they got some tea or something... that's gotta sing. 😊
A lot of people are saying that it's not Vessel doing the screams on this, but IV is. I don't really think that's true. Vessel's got pipes and versatility, so I don't doubt that it's him. I'm sure that IV contributes a little in this song, but I think it's Vessel for the most part.
And He definitely learned to scream like this relatively recently actually. My guess is that Sam Carter taught him how to do a basic fry scream. He had a basic false chord type sound before this, and on Sundowning I believe he was just yelling without any technique.
The summoning is the best off the new album for me, the groove at the end gets me everything and I do love that breakdown of course
I am sad about TrueShot, but glad to see you doing your own thing bro.
He used screams in gods and a little in the summoning
This song gives me serious Black metal vibes I love it
So, like Judas in The Divine Comedy??
They always have good drops you going to check out Half Me's new songs Ex Negativo feat. Marcus Lundqvist of thrown is pretty damn good.
it's a new producer
Convinced the guitarist is Joshua Travis
Yes, that's Vessel alright. 😀 Check out their song Gods. He screams there too.
ngl, some of the cleans here sound so similar to Breaking Benjamin
I hated that my volume is already turned up to a 100 and you turned it down.
I don’t think it’s theirs best, but it’s good.
The Summoning is better in my honest opinion
Love the song, but easily my least favorite. Felt very much a song to just be heavy. Still phenomonal.
I personally just dont get the hype... i dont get it... I feel nothing when i listen to this. Doesn't draw me in at all. Cant get into this band... 5.5/10 🤷♂️
Try listening along with the lyrics. Might help. Also maybe keep in mind the pain of relationships and that pain eating you alive 🤷🏼♂️
@@CHVSE77 gotcha. It is not just this song though. It's the band in general. Not a fan...
@spet59 thanks for letting us know? I'm sure this knowledge will come in super duper handy some day.
Secretly a huge fan obviously
@@benheninger not quite... nope.
