Question for you Did Fender ever in 64 or 65 ever use pickgaurd material that had tortoise shell on the underside of parchment ? Thanks Great guitar ❤️
That came much later also for all intent and purposes 65 fenders are pre CBS in terms of specs. some late 65 models had neck binding ( Jag / Jazzmaster / jazz bass and some rare strats ) in 66 the block inlays and the larger headstock are introduced
Be careful guitar enthusiasts. As Lake Placid blue ages, Is it very much looks like a ocean turquoise. I wish he would have pulled the pick guard off and looked at the underside to verify. But like all these guitars, they are already sold before the video is made. But do appreciate them showing us the guitar.
Aaron Heibert is next level! Anytime he plays it’s pure 🔥🔥
Killer sound and great playing.
Aaron Heibert, as per the usual, just sets the example for excellent tone. Well done!
As both an Orange and Strat guy, this is probably as close as you can get to perfect.
Orange has something special in their sound.
I love hearing and watching Aaron play!
Usually I just come watch these videos for the guitars. But I’d listen to more of that guy ply. He’s got some fuckin chops.
That is a beautiful strat.
I think this might be the first time I've ever heard someone dial a nice, clear, bright tone from an Orange.
i think is the best orange amp sound i have ever heard. it likes that 65 and the way it is being played!
Man does that sound good. Never would have thought Orange with a Strat, but you had you something there.
This guy could make anything sound good lol
that combo sounds so good.
Ocean Turquoise 65 strat, she's a beauty! fantastic tone
Deadly combination! Love these videos! Wish I had the cash for that amp. Orange all the way.
Whoa, that bridge pickup!
That Strat color is exceptional. I would have guessed that to be Lake Placid ...

Aaron Hiebert bring out the best sound from guitars
I thought CBS went with 3 screws on the back plate. They must have had some 4 hole plates left over from when Leo owned Fender. Sounds great.

It looks like a sherwood green to me.
I thought so too, but I guess the top coat aged and darkened it?
Yeah it darkened metallic finish that old wud give a more greenish color after oxidation all those years..still beauty

Probably Indian rosewood.
It's a great demo but it's a shame that you don't showcase the clean tones of the strat which are it's foundation. Cheers
Let me guess. That ultra rare Strat is worth in upwards of $90,000 huh? Probably more than that.
Sorry Marshalls and Les Pauls 🤠
From Colorado?! That’s the state I’m from!!!
