@@trentdabs5245actually that's located in Twanek, inside Sechelt Inlet on the Sunshine Coast. Our family had a home directly across from it for 40+ years. I'd give anything to be able to live up there. Felt like you were a million miles from the city, when in fact you're only 40nm as a crow flies!
With the rain pouring outside in that video, it gave that home an ever so more cozy feeling.
i actually spent a week here 10 or so years ago with the former owners. an incredible place

I did labor work rennovating one of the island houses in west van for a family and these houses on islands are a LOT of work.
Good for seeing otters, seals, and the occasional orca/whale surfacing.
Nice to see a place that looks like ordinary people live there, not some interior decorator's fantasy, with money no object. This looked homely, and unpretentious. Wd love to know what the wildlife is, on this island.
there’s a lot of blue jays and some rats i believe, the seals/sea lions come onto the dock at night and make noise lol
could you imagine living there waking up early 6am to this beautiful place, hearing the birds chirping, your coffee brewing, while you're having some delicious maple syrup drench on your french toast with some Canadian bacon on the side and then you notice Russian military ships heading in towards you?

H. Kim. No generator, hydro runs under the water & is connected to the mainland. Town for food and all amenities is a 20 minute drive by car or 15 minute bot ride.

Hi there, thanks for viewing the video. The Island is in the ocean, however Porpoise Bay is an inlet that makes for substantially calmer & warmer water than the "outside" open ocean outside of the inlet. Hope that helps!

Very beautiful but not practical for living because I would hate to have to take a boat every time I left home worry about furniture deliveries and such, etc.; however, it would make an awesome holiday get-away! The price isn't bad if you consider what some pay to live on a golf course or a big house with acreage (not in my price range though).
