Ohh I love this one. I’ve not ever seen the sewing of the curved inside edges being sewn like that rather than being snipped off. I’m guessing this is to reinforce the area being that there is no interfacing necessary. Is this correct?

ぐし縫い、亡くなった母が、着物の袖の始末でよく使っていた縫い方でした。アイロンだけではなく、綺麗に仕上がりますよね。さすがですね。。こらからも頑張ってください。

この作り方は段数の分だけ両サイドに縫い代が重なるのでこれ以上増やすとミシンで縫いにくくなると思います
