Hi Mate, thanks for the video, love your sense of humor, looking at having to change my automatic 1996 EF falcon wagons diff, its recently started to whine very minimally, took it to the shop today and they've roughly quoted me $1500:00 to $2000:00 yikes.......I've had the car 27 years and done 560 thousand kilometers but still drives beautifully so its like an old friend . Finding a diff for it might be a challenge.
Good to have you back here again mate 👍. Yeah still waiting for my Nissan Urvan unfortunately. Still don't know what I'm doing with my AU SR Falcon yet. It's always tricky when it comes to car planning stuff. 🙄 Cheers mate - From William - Mount Gambier - South Australia 🇦🇺 .
Can’t wait untill you get this bloody Urvan back mate! Yeah it’s definitely tricky planning car things but you’ll get there 👌 Take care William always good to hear from ya 💪
Gud tek. Wish I had a place I could work on mine, but no level ground at my place so it's $100 to the wreckers for an install. Great to watch the process though.
if the newer one made the thud happen only when you release the rotation speed of the pinion then it's just that now the part you changed has ok wear but the pinion is too used maybe, also did you check u joints?

Honestly it’s stopped doing it all together so I think it was a bit of a mystery thud
