Vague spoils: I feel like of the 3, R had to mentally split himself to adjust to suddenly finding out the propaganda about a society of demons wasn’t true, B just pretended he was never taught that and goes entirely into his new role making friends without considering or letting the shock land… whereas Annie was the most well-adjusted, because she had a father to focus on and her main goal of coming home alive, so she was able to mentally adjust to paradise not being full of demons quickly and be the most effective of the 3 - since she knew what she was doing was messed up, so she could feel the pain of it and didn’t need to create a split personality to process it or escape the realisation by diving into making close friends. Her fathers last words to her definitely kept her sane and alive - Annie is a good example of how strong being shown a little bit of love can make a person 💪🏼
