I also loved how they showed that she always had him too, even when he didn't know he was there for her. They've just always been there for each other, knowingly and unknowingly, and thats just such a great message for everyone
Honestly, their parents are awful. I mean, I get they're sad about Daniel and all but they've also Maddie and Buck. Their parents are trapped in the past and in the sorrow but they were kids too, they are not at fault. I know they are fictional characters but I still get mad at them for their behavior. lol
