hey steven, I think you should make a new version of this video, due to the recent wave releases and its kind of good to let others to have a look at the history of these 9th/10th sonics.
I got a Tenth Doctor's sonic screwdriver around 5-6 years ago before this video, and it didn't come with the pen or writable end or anything like that. I bought it in the U.S. for $20. Forgot to mention: The end came off but nothing was there. Plus I lost the sonic screwdriver entirely within the first month of having it. I barely used it too.
i think i gave my tenth doctor one to a charity shop it’s worth so much on ebay now i even had the little torch version i still have the psychic paper from it though ☺
I have a version of the "Partners in Crime" sonic set. With the classic era doctor who logo, and blue box color instead of red. The tenth doctor's sonic has the removable ink nib part if one would ever want to exchange it for writing hidden messages, but it's the normal ink nib that came, and worst possible thing happened:the sonic has a uv light, so it's useless. It's the only version of the sonic I have, and hopefully the only version-unless Character options pulls through with the much needed updates to the toys in wave 5. The Sonic Pen, however, is the same as it was in the old version of the set. Emitter lights up blue, and button is in the exact same place. The removable nib had to be glued down, as it became very easy to fall off. Still, a very good set nonetheless.

looks like the stock of the 10th doctor sonic has dryed up. im looking for a replacement one too and unlike a few years ago when you couldnt get away from all the sonics getting re releashed the 10th is now nowwhere to be seen. Good Luck
I managed to grab one in a screwdriver multi pack along with the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th/7th/8th and 11th sonics. The one in that pack had a different handle colour; more of a dark ish yellow, was a bit lower in sound and had 4 different sound effects.
