I had Ip13 for 1year and 6 month now, the battery life still great tho. I do all sort of things except gaming and my average SOT is 4 - 4.5 hours. Charge all the way to 90-95% in the morning (7am), left with 25%-35% at 11 pm. Camera was decent for slightly above average human like me who loves taking non-human pictures and post on socmed and the video quality is absolutely amazing. Never had issues like most Ip13 Pro users.
I have iphone 13 wayback 2021 and the battery is still 98% efficient that could last as far as 3 days by just texting and calling and some browsing...will be using it til the next two years!🎉❤
For me in the UK there is a £3 difference a month on contract. For that I get satellite calling, which is the best feature on any phone yet. And for someone who goes on long walks and does camping. Sometimes alone. That’s a great feature. Plus the crash detection and longer update support. And the I phone has been built to be easier repairable. The 5G is reportedly better as well. And you get a better camera to boot.
I dont see this being mentioned really at all but the iphone 14 also has bluetooth 5.3 vs 5.0 on the 13 series as well as uses the x65 modem vs the x60 modem on the 13 series. Those are the two main reasons id go with the 14 over the 13.
I agree that they are similar enough that the 13 is just worth losing those minimal features but as someone who wants and needs the extra year of software updates I am still getting the 14 especially with the 15 out now.

if you arent a photographer and want to keep your phone for a couple of years- 13 because the 256 storage is very forgettable like a black hole with storage. If you think that you wont stay with your phone till it falls apart years later and want to get the small bump with photos and a huge improvement in quality with shaky videos with that gimble-like stabilization, yeah get the 14. i know phones fill the 128gb for 5 years with photos taken sometimes, but friends that photo and video record almost every day get it filled up for 1-1,5 year, so make the choice- the better videos and +10% pic night quality or the better storage.
But the updates though! If someone wants to keep the phone for as long as possible then they would want to have the newer one (14). besides, if they aren't someone who takes a lot of photos or records a lot of videos then why would they get the 256gb 14 over the 128 gb 13? At the end of the day they wouldn't use that much memory anyway ( not taking many photos or recording videos).
We have now iphone 13 128gt 699euros, 256gt 799euros and i phone 14 128gt 799euros. I have very hard to decide which one is better i phone 13 with more space or i phone 14 less space. I take lot of pictures and videos.
