@@longmemory1620 He interviewed Gerry Adams and accused him of being "glib" when Adams out that he is likely proud of his of grandfather who was in the IRA back in the 20s. Tubridy tried to say that was a "different time". Adams in my view exposed the mindset a lot of southerners have towards the PIRA even though the IRA of the 20s were up to the same things.
Tubridy comes across like a west brit like much of the south I'm afraid.

Tubridy is funny, intelligent skilled presenter but he'll always be a wormy, yes, man, west brit. Great communication skills but no backbone. His relations were strong republicans and he completely dismissed their work when talking to Gerry Adams and Michelle O'Neill. Very good journalist and presenter but no backbone like his grandfather had. He nearly made people feel guilty for republican beliefs.
