I love tobacco, cinnamon, fruits (like apple, cherry, plum, pineapple, and pear), vanilla, booze, almond, coconut, cardamom, citrus, coniferous notes, and honey notes in fragrances.
I love this series/format. It’s definitely find put me onto some gems. Tobacco Vanille is the first fragrance I ever bought and I fell in love with it. Still am! Unfortunately though, such Tom Ford is so popular, these scammers long to make and sell fakes so if I want a Tom Ford fragrance I will only buy it in store or from the official website
Tobacco is my absolute favorite note. Royal Tobacco is too ashy for me. Chergui is lovely and soft, but took me a minute to warm up to the powdery note. Fan Your Flames is a coconut rum summertime night on the veranda dream scent. Justin, some suggestions for unique tobacco fragrances: Rogue’s Derviche, Parfum D’Empire Tabac Tabou, Une Nuit a Doha, Tauer Sundowner.
I bought Tobacco Oud today. I’ve had my eye on it for over a year, however whilst I loved it I thought that I would have trouble wearing it. I’m at that stage in my fragrance journey now that I’m craving frags that stand out, I sold a lot of my ‘mass appealing’ scents with the exception of a few and have bought a few fragrances that I’ve wanted for a long time but was too scared to wear. Life’s too short to play it safe all the time! (Maybe play it safe at the office, though - lol)
Thumbs up Justin for talking about fragrances we never see or hear about rather than the main stream of es we hear about everywhere. Keep it up om discovering and talking about new stuff
Chergui, I loved, reminds me of Book’s more sophisticated older brother. With the hay note. I forgot about this one. And I did not know they made a 3.3? Of it. Picking up on Friday to finish the winter in nyc in style and class.
Herod is amazing. As it The One. Ideal Extreme is gorgeous. Jazz Club deserves an honorable mention too. Thing with the niche brands though, is that they're not always available from local stores and I have a sample-before-you-buy principle. Long/far journeys would kinda make that redundant. Besides that, I feel covered enough on the tobacco front. Love the smell and have enough love in my life. Justin should do a Royal Tobacco vs Red Tobacco competition. One on the left, one on the right and pile on sprays. :P ... Finally determine which is the strongest.
Yo for real--I just got a travel spray of Red Tobacco, and I've not even sprayed it yet, because it's so strong off the atomizer. I'm a little bit afraid of it. Lol
Naxos is great, but I don’t find it to be particularly tobacco-forward. If you like Tobacco Vanille, you have to try Tabac from Aaron Terence Hughes. It’s basically that profile plus oud. Highly recommend.
I have Chergui!! Ha!! Got it off jomashop too. It’s still out there. Cheap discount price too. Love the TF tobacco oud. Along with tobacco vanille. Here’s one that people sleep on. Tabarome by Creed. I haven’t found a more easily wearable tobacco yet. Super easy to wear long lasting and elegant. I just ordered a decant of the guerlain from the link, primarily because I only know the original l’homme ideal. Nice and well made for a very affordable niche quality fragrance but it never grabbed me. I still have a full bottle.
Justin, you're killing me. L'ideal Extreme and Intense have become two must buys for me. Ah I just read the scent profile and listen to your praises for it. I've always a fragrance like these two. It's a shame I've been such in Cambodia since before Covid. It's safe to say I'm buying many many samples of Guerlains when I get access to an authentic retailer. I love tobacco now and when I saw the plum and almond note is included in Extreme, I just know it will become a signature scent for me. I'm looking at Habit Rouge too. What I love about Guerlain is their quality and the fact that the products have very long life cycles. Somehow they fly under the radar of mainstream fragrances. I'm constantly worried about my signature YSL and Issey fragrances getting discontinued for every year that passes since I've lived in poverty. All of the L'Homme flankers do not help and L'Homme and LNDL have rather mild longevity which means I have to buy their biggest bottles and spray twice as much and then layer later in the day. I'm glad Issey pour homme is still as good as it was in the early 90's but I just know Nuit won't last that long. Interestingly enough, Issey pour homme is a fresh fragrance that uses notes of nutmeg, ceylon, and tobacco. That's why it's so interesting to wear as it changes from season to season. Back to Guerlain, I'm glad you brought this house to my attention.
This is a great concept, I enjoyed the vetiver video a lot. I have some 20+ fragrances and I've tried to get some actually different types of fragrances all along, but I seem to have started to struggle in finding the ones that really stand out and that I like enough to buy. I did sample the Terre d'Hermes vetiver after the last video (not for the first time) and got a better idea what vetiver smells like. Lots of the notes listed in fragrances are something that I have little to no idea what they actually smell like, so this is a good way to learn more. And it helps in finding the fragrances that are different from the ones I already know.
Hello Justin, how are you? Great job on the video and list. You are really hitting it out of the park with the content!! Stay safe brother and hi to Grace.
Hey Justin. Mmmm tobacco. The Guerlain is an absolute favorite of mine. The Nishane is amazing too. I also like S.T. Dupont's Perfect Tobacco. Thanks for the video.
I have found I absolutely love tobacco. At least, drier, or maybe leafy tobacco. Not ashy versions. Kind of surprised you didn't mention Triumph of Bacchus. I also came across a sample of Mystery Tobacco from Carolina Herrera. Soooo smooth and addicting.
I wear Chergui casually. I’ve had the same bottle for over 10 years I’m sure. It’s always a pleasant personal experience but I’m not sure if I’ve ever gotten a compliment on it. I love it dearly though and maybe it would be nice if I dressed up with it.
I was interested in royal tobacco but that potency is what turns me off for some fragrances. I hate when I scent just doesn't leave you alone after awhile I get that affect with black orchid parfum by tf. I enjoy the scent and quality but that scent doesn't take a chill on my body I get it well over 18-24 hours and at that point I'm annoyed by the scent.
Love the video. I really like tobacco as a note. I love it in perfumes like Vintage, Gucci pour Homme II, Egoiste, Havana Reserva and of course The One. I have to smell Herod again and give it a full wearing. However there are ones that are one-dimensional and smells only like tobacco. Such as Pure Havane and Red Tobacco. Very difficult to wear and not too exciting. I totally agree with you about Amouage Royal Tobacco. When I first sprayed it my wife hated it, I loved it but thought it was too strong. In fact I think it is mega-beast mode and could use some citrus to tone it down a bit. It exceeded scents like Straight to heaven, Ambre Eternel, Tuscan Leather and even Fredrick Male's Promise. I think one spray is enough!! I got a sampler for now. Chergui seems very interesting.
I finally got a full bottle of Chergui after trying it over and over again and getting samples every couple of months. I love it. Wouldn't have thought of describing it as powdery, but I can see why you would say that. It just really reminds me of some sort of... herbal candy? I associate it with the ones my grandma always had. Some sort of spice and herbs with tobacco. I adore the addition of hay and honey, they really come through on my skin in a playful underlying way beneath the main DNA of Chergui. Suprised me to hear it is considered divisive. I assumed its one of those parfums where everyone kind of agrees it's a masterpiece. Have seen nothing but love for it.
Nice video, Justin. Love the concept. I have Chergui , it is very nice. You may wish to try Tabac from Aaron Terrence Hughes. It is a gem. His fragrances in general are amazing. Keep up the good work.
I have a bottle of Naxos..it has become the most expensive dust collector I own...I grew out of it quite fast...was very sick, threw on a hoodie that still had some Naxos permeating on it and it is now tied into my brain as the scent of the experience...vomiting and all..I just can't wear it anymore ...don't know what to do with it..I'm not part of Facebook and online meet up sales in Detroit isn't a smart idea
Yes! I do still like this type of content and levels for the perfumes Justin. So many wonderfull notes left for you to choose from. Again, some great perfume choices you made. For me personaly, lavender would be a note I love to see what you would choose with it. But ofcause it's your channel and in the end you decide and make the content.
You shocked me with fan your flames. I have a 10 ml and I get everything you listed but tobacco. I’d like to try tobacco oud and I’ll probably blind buy chergui. I’ve owned a couple of Serge Lutens fragrances already but sadly never put my nose on its most heralded scent.
Here are videos I’ve done about Chyprés and Fougères: Fougeres: ua-cam.com/video/sOShZ0mJOlA/v-deo.html Chyprés: ua-cam.com/video/IfYuOJn5Q-I/v-deo.html
Hi Justin! Thanks for the format it's a great concept. I invite you to try mystery tobacco from CH, it's a refined and great scent, worthy of signature and it's a really high quality potent scent ! And you can never overspray it cuz I tried but it never gets cloying.
Haha, yeah Royal Tobacco is crazy. It gets beautiful on skin after an hour or two but man that initial blast is almost as harsh as Red Tobacco. I made the mistake of taking it to my nose after a few seconds and oof... I pretty much got my nose stinging! 😅Cécile still makes incredible perfumes, though.
I like (but don't own) Chergui. But my favorite Lutens tobacco frag (and the first tobacco scent I ever bought) is Fumerie Turque. (love the format btw)
You're one of the few fragrance reviewers I watch these days... many of the ones I used to watch (most of you know who they are) just recycle the same 100 fragrances over and over and over and over with different tag lines... all for the sake of getting those views and likes... its cringey and it's nauseating.... thank you Justin for not partaking in the spectacle
Nice video JC. A tobacco perfume i am interested in is actually Aviation Club which was recommended by you actually as well as Field Notes from Paris. From this list, it seems Fan Your Flames is most interesting to me based on notes. Great video to follow up vetiver. :)
Great list. So I love tobacco scents. I have tobacco vanille but I get bored of it despite people loving the smell. My tobacco scents I’ve been wearing this winter as of late has been miller Harris Fleures de tabac which has a nice pine note it’s classy and smells well groomed. Killian light my fire which is a sweet earthy tobacco with a great hay note it leans mature but is lovely. Also creed taberome millesime which pairs ginger tobacco and that’s salty slightly sour ambergris it also has a nice sandalwood note as a back drop. Another I’ve found but in sample form I’d Rouge perfumery tabac vert. Which I enjoy but it has a very classic old world feel and is slightly more challenging to wear and definitely not built for compliments. Give them a try if you haven’t already
I like this type of content. Tobacco is probably my favorite scent so this video definitely caught my attention. I'd love to smell tobacco oud and also to check out some of the ones you've mentioned. I have spicebomb(of course) and I have The One as well. Very good fragrances to me. I've also picked up a cheapie called Insurrection II which they say smells similar to Pure Havane and when I wear that people love it as well.
I have a bottle of pure havane I bought when I first got into fragrances, I had to choose between pure havane and pure malt, I should’ve gotten both but I use my pure havane very sparingly as it’s my only bottle
@@stayfreshproductions it’s a shame what TM did to the line, I’ve heard such good things about pure zest, pure malt, and others, but I guess I won’t ever know.
Soem really nice picks here. I haven't tried anythjng from Serge Lutens yet but Chergui, La Fille de Berlin, and Filles en Aiguilles are the ones I'm most curious about.
I too really enjoyed this video, a bit different and interesting. I started collected about 2 years ago and you have definitely been a big influence. My fav frag is probably Tobacco Oud by TF. I just bought my 3rd bottle to ensure I never run out. I feel a bit spoilt but certainly very grateful. Have you tried Ursa by TT yet. I am interested to see if/where this would fit in this video.
Vanille Havane by Les Indemodables is absolutely beautiful stuff. I think if more people could get their noses on it, it could end up becoming quite the hype beast. 🔥
Hey bro Justin great video yeah I do love tobacco notes and I have most of them in my collection and have you tried back to black by kilian or tobac royal by royal crown? Those are some tobacco fragrances that I really love and have a wonderful weekend peace ✌️ 🇬🇧
Really like these videos, helps me discover new stuff in a targeted way. And tobacco is one of my favorite notes - leather next please! Funny how you stunted on some of our favorites, too! 😂 Love lhomme ideal extreme as I always compliment that line. I tried it at the same time as the EDT and the EDP and I knew I like it, but I wasn’t sure if I liked it as much as the others because there was so much going on. It was early in my journey and my first time sampling any Guerlain’s (had a few other decants from them in the order too) and I was blown away by them. Fast forward to the end of the decant and it was my favorite in the line, so good. All four current iterations have at one point even my favorite that’s how you know they are complex and quality! You should try montabaco and montabaco intensivo by Ormond Jayne. A fresh take on tobacco, something James Bond would wear!
I like these styles of video a lot. I didn't realize this was going to be one of those. If I had, I would have clicked on it sooner. And if I had realized this was a tobacco list I would have clicked on it sooner. I love Tobacco notes. It might be my favorite fragrance note, actually. I currently only have two tobacco scents, Herod and Pure Havane, and I love both. I'm also a big fan of Naxos, but I haven't bought it yet. Of the ones you mentioned in your video, I've tried three. Chergui got a lot a hype for a while. I liked the dry-down a lot, but that opening was far too feminine for me. That powdery opening you were talking about. Not for me. The Tom Ford was too much for me (as you can tell I'm more of a beginner). Fan Your Flames was nice. I didn't love it, but I liked it. A lot of the others are on my list of things to try (the Guerlain, the Zaharoff, and the precious liquids). Your description of Tobacco Royal really made me want to try it more. Good video! Keep 'em coming.
Was certain the Amouage would make this video. I don't enjoy tobacco, I have both Herod & Royal Tobacco and never wear them (lol). The only thing missing here could be BDK's Tabac Rose. For the elite end-tier people, there are also Royal Crown's Habanos and Xerjoff's Don which basically smell offensive. And then there's also PDM's Carlisle which I also dislike. Just... not a note for me.
Ganymede is my new signature scent. Fresh in a way but not in the typical way. Can dress up or down. Can wear it day or night. It’s incredibly unique. To top it all off, it lasts 8+ hours and has decent projection and a great sillage
kenzo homme EDP 2022 reformulated version smells like Ganymede only i find it more wearable (and cheaper) with the marine notes rather than Ganymedes mineral notes... not surprised they're close as both created by Quentin Bisch
@@g.d2450 Essential Parfums Bois Imperial is also very similar to Ganymede, but more wearable and mass appealing, plus a lot cheaper. Also created by the same perfumer as Ganymede. 👍🏻
I've tried TF Tobacco Vanille up close and it gave me that fake or "unlit" tobacco vibe that kind of resembles a tobacco flavored e-liquid for vaping. Didn't like that. My question is, does Tobacco Oud have that same fake tobacco vibe as in Tobacco Vanille? Or does it smell like a woody premium Cuban Cigar?
Tobacco Oud is characterized by more than the tobacco to me. The whiskey, Oud, and spices play a bigger role to my nose. I recommend getting a sample though.
Inspiring list! I enjoy this format and would like to see more along the same style. 1821manmade sweet tobacco spirits is worth checking out if you haven't tried it!
Check out Daniel Rosier Ambre Tabac & Dunhill Agar Wood. I will consider Tobacco Oud. Not Atman Xaman because it has Immortelle like 1749 Marquis de Sade, which I don't like that much as other tobacco based fragrances. The weird thing about tobacco fragrances is that most of them are (overly) sweet. My father smoked and I hate it. One thing I can not associate with tobacco is sweetness. Unless for some kinds of pipe tobacco. Dunhill Agar Wood is not sweet by the way.
Guerlain L'Homme Ideal Extreme is my favorite designer Tabacco. One of my fav desginer period. Plus iN eUrOpE we can pick it up from the shelfs in every perfumery 😋. On other hand Zaharof is not present in my part of the EU. Franck Boclet Tobacco is realy doing it for me, not that sweet like TF TV. And that plum is great. PLus TF TV is great for me as a idea of a smell, but not a fregrance to wear. But those few twiks in Tranck Boclets Tobacco made it were weareble. Fan your Flame is not my cup of tea, sweat in direction i didn't like. I got it's ay be in someone else liking. Nucleral longevity on my skin. Serge Lutens Chergui only thing I got from it is hay, it make me remember the late, hot summers from my childhood, the smell of hay drying on the meadow. And I'm not from Maroko but eastern Europe. And if I rememeber corectly it was inspired by marocan wind and something else.
Atman Xaman from the master Lorenzo Villoresi FTW. Super realistic pipe tobacco, warm spices and leather. So elegant.
Definitely!
Lorenzo Villoresi is fantastic! The Musk and Uomo are both elite for me
Chergui n Franck Boclet Tobacco is on my list ti buy this autumn
Tobacco is my absolute favorite note. Royal Tobacco is too ashy for me. Chergui is lovely and soft, but took me a minute to warm up to the powdery note. Fan Your Flames is a coconut rum summertime night on the veranda dream scent. Tabbaco oud and naxos are beastly love both scents 👌

Chergui, I loved, reminds me of Book’s more sophisticated older brother. With the hay note. I forgot about this one. And I did not know they made a 3.3? Of it. Picking up on Friday to finish the winter in nyc in style and class.
Red Tobacco did magic for me this winter. Great content Justin. You rock!!!
Bro… that’s exactly a video I needed. I’m looking for a really good signature scent. That come just at the right time.
You're knocking it out of the park with these videos lately 🤞 Keep doing your thing 🤝🍻
Thank you!

Justin should do a Royal Tobacco vs Red Tobacco competition. One on the left, one on the right and pile on sprays. :P ... Finally determine which is the strongest.
Jazz Club is a great fragrance but the tobacco scent doesn't shine at all, mostly boozy scent.

I think that whole Declaration line is Sooooooo Underrated.
I discovered Tobacco not long ago. It is the scent I've been always looking for during winter.
Love the list! I am getting into tobacco scents more and the one I am obsessed with at the moment is Tabac Rose but BDK.
Tabac rose is so amazing! I've already said this is for sure my valentine's day fragrance with the tabacco, rose and chocolate is just perfect!
Thank you! Love that one too.
Great video with some great choices in there and I enjoyed it and have a blessed day
Will try and get at least 3 of these. Chargui and TF for a start this year. Kudos
Thanks!

Hello Justin, how are you? Great job on the video and list. You are really hitting it out of the park with the content!! Stay safe brother and hi to Grace.
That's a respectable list of tobacco fragrances. This format it's really enjoyable.
Thank you
Hey Justin. Mmmm tobacco. The Guerlain is an absolute favorite of mine. The Nishane is amazing too. I also like S.T. Dupont's Perfect Tobacco. Thanks for the video.

I have and love Tobacco Oud. My brother tried to steal it from me but alas he failed.
Red Tobacco?
There others are many that aren't in this video...and I don't personally love Red Tobacco.
I was interested in royal tobacco but that potency is what turns me off for some fragrances. Tabac is so realistic, deep and rich on it's own but layering with ATH oud brings a whole new level!

Scent association is so powerful. It can't definitely ruin fragrances for you.
Thx for the series, Justin. Keep educating!
Im glad you did this video. Im starting to get into tobacco fragrances.

Thanks Justin 3-28-2023❤, I have a 10ml Naxos but I do not smell tobacco it’s been sitting for a couple yrs and it very dark now
Hi Marilyn, your decant might be going bad. They expire much sooner than bottles.
JC!! Always bringing something different to the cookout!! Always 🔥!! Thank you fam!! Tobacco Oud is killa!!
Thank you!
Luvin the format... Would love to see you get more exposure too!
Thank you!
been eyeing on the florentine brand lately. hv to try some. By saying not honey like tobacco u made me excited lil more now.

I really love your video direction and I'm loving every bit of it. We've had Lavender and now Tobacco. Can't wait for what's coming next.

Lavender would be awesome. Actually, this really should be your entire focus going forward lol. Just pick a note and give us a handful of your picks.
Amouage Royal Tobacco is a Hall of Famer. 2 sprays will take over any situation. Women love it on me.

Great video keep up the unique content. Perhaps something on fougeres next.
Thank you. Fougeres have already been filmed. 😉
Thank you Jo
Great job Justin
🙏🏾🙏🏾
Nice video JC. A tobacco perfume i am interested in is actually Aviation Club which was recommended by you actually as well as Field Notes from Paris. From this list, it seems Fan Your Flames is most interesting to me based on notes. Great video to follow up vetiver. :)
Thank you!
I need to revisit Millesime Tabarome.
Thank you Sean!
I have a bottle of pure havane I bought when I first got into fragrances, I had to choose between pure havane and pure malt, I should’ve gotten both but I use my pure havane very sparingly as it’s my only bottle
Funny, tomorrow’s video is all about discontinuation.
Thank you, I need to try more SL as well.
Cheers Justin, sophisticated with quality! 🙏
Thank you!
You should test these from Lorenzo Villoresi:
Yerbamate
Teint de Neige Eau de Parfum
Theseus
Tabac Dore by Bortnikoff and Vanille Havane by Les Indemodables are the most sensational tobacco theme fragrances I have smelled and own.
One I would have added is Nishane Ani
Nishane Ani is awesome. But this is a video based on tobacco fragrances and it doesn’t not use tobacco
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy TO!
Vanille Havane by Les Indemodables is absolutely beautiful stuff. I think if more people could get their noses on it, it could end up becoming quite the hype beast. 🔥
Agree it is such an amazing fragrance that no one has done anything like it. It is very powerful so seriously no more than 2 sprays!
But some says it's animalic and and thats why I'm on a fance with this one.
I need to try it.
Hey bro Justin great video yeah I do love tobacco notes and I have most of them in my collection and have you tried back to black by kilian or tobac royal by royal crown? Those are some tobacco fragrances that I really love and have a wonderful weekend peace ✌️ 🇬🇧
Thank you! I haven't tried Tobac Royal and I need to revisit Back to Black.
I'm sartorially pleasing., this smile and I smell good?! Kind of hard to forget me, brother.
Ps: I love this format!
Really like these videos, helps me discover new stuff in a targeted way. And tobacco is one of my favorite notes - leather next please! Funny how you stunted on some of our favorites, too! 😂
Love lhomme ideal extreme as I always compliment that line.
Thank you!! I need to try Montabaco.
It’s certainly unique and quality. Not for everyone
I second the Leather video
@@gokblok leather has been done 👌🏾

Thank you Chris!
What are your thoughts on Ormonde Jayne Montabaco or the Montabaco Intensive?
I need to try them.
Not a purist but it's hard for me to see niche houses use synthetic tobacco notes, like that you went to artisan houses for actual tobacco
Royal tobacco is the perfect gloomy day fragrance for me 👌👌👌
You don't have Naxos... Where is it? 😁
Bond #9 { Scent of peace}
Another Amazing Video Brother
Appreciate that bro
Great vid💯💯 this style is great
Thank you
Ganymede is my new signature scent.
Cartier L'envol and Mousse Illuminee for me thanks!
Sounds delicious to me, will sample it for sure. Thanks a ton!
Hey Justin I have Tobacco Oud how many sprays do you do?
No more than 4
Can you review Cherry Tobacco scents? Not just a fruity tone but a true Cherry tobacco.
I haven’t smelled a ton of them. But I’ll keep my eye out.
Raw Cherry by Aron Terence Hughes
How does CK Shock stand in your opinion?
It’s nice. Not my favorite
@justin copeland what would be the most versatile out of all these tobacco fragrances justin ?
The Zaharoff is most versatile!
Wanna be remembered? Slow down on blue colognes since they are soooo popular with men.
Inspiring list! I enjoy this format and would like to see more along the same style. 1821manmade sweet tobacco spirits is worth checking out if you haven't tried it!
Thank you Andrew
Good morning, staying fresh productions
The Tom Ford Oud’s give me a terrible instantaneous allergic reaction
Check out Daniel Rosier Ambre Tabac & Dunhill Agar Wood.
I will consider Tobacco Oud. Not Atman Xaman because it has Immortelle like 1749 Marquis de Sade, which I don't like that much as other tobacco based fragrances.
The weird thing about tobacco fragrances is that most of them are (overly) sweet. My father smoked and I hate it. One thing I can not associate with tobacco is sweetness. Unless for some kinds of pipe tobacco. Dunhill Agar Wood is not sweet by the way.
I used to own Agar Wood, wasn't a fan of it! I need to try Ambre Tabac.
This channel is so underrated
Thank you
You forgot Tobacolor
I didn’t forget
@@stayfreshproductions HA! It’s a dope scent. You don’t like it?
@@Kb4mdena no, I just don’t have it! There are a ton of great ones I don’t have. We can’t put every fragrance in every video 👌🏾
@@stayfreshproductions Fa sho Bro. Dior Tobacolor 🔥tho! Keep up the great content 👍🏾.
7:45 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
