Man you saved me, I've been struggling with the right hand problem for a whole month because even though I found guides to fix it none of them showed directly how to do it and I didn't want to mess up the figure. I will try your tutorial, hopefully it will work.
A safer way. Add the superglue and don't put the hand on. Wait for it to dry, then put the hand on (might need to heat the hand first). Top coat also works for this too

Yeah you just need a little bit of glue on the peg, and as long as you twist until dry, you’re good to go
This method ends up getting loose again over time sadly.
Mine loosened but the good thing is you can do it again!

This and the underarms looking weird kept me from buying it
Will I still be able to take out the hand if i need to? Or is it locked in as a result of the glue
Take the hand off before the glue settles, the point is to use the glue to thicken the peg
