Thanks for your video. It inspired me to take a look at some of them. I miss "Sons of Anarchy" in your selection. SOA has everything a good prime time soap needs: The struggle within a family for power in the (mostly illegal) business, lots of exciting characters whose stories keep interacting, and very exciting cliffhangers.
Dynasty gets an unfair 'trial' by a lot of people but it is actually really good. It's my favourite soap out of all of them. The cast is also phenomenal and Liz Gillies is beyond amazing as Fallon. They develop the characters so much in the course of five seasons. The original is great in its own right but I really do love the CW version and I really miss it.
@@demetriusburley3686 I felt that way for a good 6 months but then I treated it like a modern soap opera. They are not the same. The 80s qualities don't work today. I looked at it like Gossip Girl which the 2007-2012 verison is by the same people. It was never going to be the same thing. I also think there's a gatekeeping in some franchises that dooms new versions to unfair critiques. I've been a Star Trek fan since I was 7 and I'm 43 now. It gets very draining to hear people critique every new version as 'not Star Trek' when they don't even watch them. I digress however. I loved it and I miss it all the time. I do understand it's not for everybody.
I adored REVENGE!! That was MY SHOW along with NASHVILLE! But two others I would have included were PASADENA with Dana Delany and THE HAVES AND THE HAVE NOTS
I thought you would have mentioned that Larry Hagman made a guest appearance on Desperate Housewives. And one of your lists could have had a show called Titans, which had Victoria Principal.
DH had hundreds of guest stars and I had to leave a lot out. About Titans, it appears in the Failed Soaps video. Thanks for your feedback! Toni from supersoaps.org
Robert, thanks for your suggestion. Actually it was in the beginning, but I preferred to add others that I did watch. Anyway, I have never watched a "high school" drama (except Glee, lol!), and all I read about OTH didn´t convince me, though I must admit it made me slightly curious about it. Thanks again! Toni from supersoaps.org
@@supersoaps well One Tree Hill was more than just a high school drama. It premiered the same season as The O.C., which was also on your list, but One Tree Hill ran for 9 seasons. After the fourth season, they graduated high school and there was a time jump bypassing college years and into adulthood.
Toni!!! I’ve been wanting you to do this!!! I cannot wait for you to watch them and see future episodes devoted to those specific shows! Brava

Thanks! I'm working on part 2 so please mention more titles. Toni

I´m very happy for you Roland. I couldn´t get past the Pilot and I´m not even a Dynasty fan! Thanks for your feedback! Toni from supersoaps.org
@@supersoaps Hi Toni, I will say it took me three attempts to finish it. It is a terrible pilot. It does improve steadily from there on out.
I can’t stand the new one

Nothing as done it for me since the original Melrose place.

what about One Tree Hill, a teen soap that ran for 9 seasons on the WB and CW

@@radrobd123 Thanks for the info. The clips & cast are appealing to me. Maybe in near future I'll give it a try. Toni
Why wasn't the Dallas reboot included?
It´s specified in the beginning. It will have its own video.
The Royals is very very good.
I feel that Queers As Folks is missing.
Right! But it will appear in another video soon! Thanks for reminding me of it! Toni from supersoaps.org
