Dissected | Industrial Dark Synth

Before you get your magic underwear into a twist, no this song is not meant as a political message. It's just a track about a cool SCP. Anyone who has been following me for a while knows I'm nowhere near this subtle if I want a track to have a deeper message.

SCP-1981, titled "Ronald Reagan Cut Up While Talking," is an anomalous VHS tape containing a distorted and highly disturbing version of a speech by former U.S. President Ronald Reagan. The tape is labeled "RONALD REAGAN CUT UP WHILE TALKING" in permanent marker and does not appear to be mass-produced or commercially available. When played, the tape shows Reagan delivering his famous "Evil Empire" speech, but the content quickly deviates from reality.
As the tape progresses, Reagan's speech becomes increasingly incoherent, filled with violent and disturbing statements that he never made in reality. Simultaneously, Reagan begins to suffer from unexplained and gruesome injuries, as if being attacked by an unseen force. The injuries escalate in severity throughout the recording, though Reagan continues to speak as if unaffected by the pain. The audience shown in the tape does not react to these events and remains passive throughout.
Repeated viewings of SCP-1981 show that the content of the tape changes slightly each time, with different injuries or phrases, suggesting a form of self-alteration. The source and purpose of SCP-1981 remain unknown, and it is stored in a secure audiovisual storage vault at a Foundation site, where access is limited to research personnel for study.
