Izzy practiced how the fight ended all throughout his training camp, you can see it online and in the lead-up to the fight series on the UFC channel. And yes, we all collectively lost our shit when we saw that knockout.

He wasn't seriously hurt. He baited Alex against the cage and knocked him out cold 🥶 😴. He's been anticipating that and prepared for that all training camp. Watch his training videos leading up to this rematch and you'll see.

You could see the respect they have for each other when they talked back stage and they hugged two times, they are both definitely gonna become better fighters after those two bouts, they have learned a lot from each other, Izzy said he has learnt to throw those sneaky leg kicks the way Periera does it, and Periera too must have learnt big lessons from how he got KO'ed

Ughhh I love the breakdown of the last sequence of this fight, the video I saw of the breakdown showed izzy throwing a quick jab that stalls Alex’s final left hook for a split second, giving izzy just enough time to load up his right and so the race is on, this is what Andrew was talking about, they both had they’re power shots loaded but Izzy beat him to the punch.🤌

I’ve never been crazy about Adesanya, but I was really happy for him when he won, and especially because of the way he won. He’s corny and cringy and his press appearances make me furious, but he’s one of the best middleweights to ever do it for sure.

I hate to o be the one to say it cuz I'm completely on Izzy's side and happy he finally won but: they fought 4 fights. Izzy won 1, peiera won 3 overall he's the winner. Plus you never know what would happen if they fought another 1 he could learn from the tapes how to be him, same as Izzy did. But I'm real happy for Izzy. Beating takes a heavy psychological weight of him. He beat his nemesis CONVINCINGLY. Awesome!
