- Because of my own stupidity I am switching from the HJC Ibex 2.0 helmet to a Falconer Aero 2Vi MIPS helmet. This one is the collaboration between Sweet Protection and Pas Normal Studios.
Find out what my first impressions are and how it compares to a HJC.

Love this helmet got three of them. Fit is really snug and the place for the glasses is spot on and secure. Aero or not aero in one package!
After riding with it for over a month, i can only confirm the same. Best helmet i have had so far. Would be great if it would be a little cheaper tho 😂😂
Schönes Review. Danke!

Nice helmet, thanks for the review. Would like to have seen the vent covers on and off when you modeled it.
Thank you for the tip. Yes still learning the youtube thing hehe. Might add a little short video showing this. 🤜🤛
Good information. Good video. Thank you.
Thanks a lot 🫶
I’ve been looking at this helmet for months now and the only thing holding me back is the price tag for sure. Thank you for the solid review! It is difficult to find good video overviews like this. Can you share where your cycling glasses are from as well?
Glad you enjoyed it. I was in the same place as you. If i would have not needed a helmet quickly i would have went for the regular one and not the PNS edition to save some money. But i am still loving this helmet. It is so comfortable.
The glasses are from a company called 100%. 🤜🤛
love the review! Thank you! Are you still content? I am looking forward to buying one myself-
But I noticed another thing. I love the look of your sunnies! Which are those? They look great and match the helmet!
Thanks a lot. Still loving the helmet. One of the best bike related purchases i made.
The glasses are from a company called 100%. Very comfy and light as well.
@@klein-concept that's great to here! Thanks for the quick an helpful reply!
I find your videos very interesting: thank you! I'm coming back to the Sweet Protection Falconer Aero 2Vi Mips helmet... About the size? Are the brand recommendations correct?
S/M: 53-56cm M/L: 56-59cm L/XL: 59-61cm
Based on your experience, please could you give your opinion on this subject?
Thank you
Thanks a lot. I think they are pretty on point. have a 59cm head and the M/L fits perfectly. I will be back home in 10 days so have to give it a proper measure if you like.
Loved this video! What is the main difference between the Sweet Protection Falconer Aero 2Vi MIPS and the Sweet Protection Falconer 2Vi MIPS Helmet?
Price difference is just $50 which is not that bad and the only visible difference that I could tell was that the Aero version has the magnetic flaps.
Glad to hear that 🫶. I think it is only the aero covers.
What kind of sunglasses are you wearing? Are they prescription? I've been struggling to find some shield frames that would work with my prescription.
I wear the ones from 100% but without prescription as in my regular glasses i m only -0.75 to i still see good enough for riding the bike.
Go9d review. How is fit? Spot on? Reason I ask, i currently have a Bell z20 Aero and the sizing I needed was L or 58-62 cm. The sizing for the Falconer is just a tad different but when I measure my heads circumference, I get 23" to 23.25 at best. I assume a M/L or should I size up? I hate helmet sizing and really wished it was a larger variable in each sizing from S to M to L so to speak.
I have to say it is the most comfortable helmet that i have ever worn. I now notice it as i m traveling and had to use my secondary helmet which is a HJC and even while this is a great helmet it is no where near in comfort. I think the M/L should work well for you sizing wise.
@@klein-concept just got mine in. Yes, it is the most comfortable helmet I have ever placed on my head!
@@revelationdetailers894hehe right. Glad you like it. It is expensive but after placing it on my head knew it was worth it.
Since you wear glasses do you ride in contact lenses or do you have prescription lenses in your bike shades? I wear prescription glasses myself and I haven't used contact lenses, so I'm little split between trying contacts and having cycling glasses with prescription inserts.
I only have -0.75 so i ride without glasses or contacts. But i think having soft day contacts might work best of you need them.
Hey, what kind of bike glasses do you wear as a person who wears normal glasses? Do you use contactlenses when riding?
Most of the time i use the glasses by 100%. I only have +0.75 on my glasses, if i dont put my regular glasses on in the morning, somehow my eyes are fine and able to see good enough on the bike without any contact lenses. If i put my glasses on in the morning and then have to take them off for cycling i feel that my eyes struggle a bit because they adjusted already.
I watch your videos too fast... Again 360p only available! 😁 Look on the bright side. Bad helmet luck means more content for us! Thanks!
Hehe. Next time i will wait for the 4k footage to encode before publishing 😂😂😂
Are the back vent covers removable as well??
No only the front ones. 🤙🤙🤙
@@klein-concept thanks!! That’s unfortunate was hoping both would remove for those really hot days haha..
Been riding it in Mallorca for a bit now but wasnt crazy hot and felt well ventilated but guess when you are thinking 30+ degrees it could become a bit of a sauna haha.

Sorry, terrible idea , you take them off on a long ride and could fall out of your pocket at the back. Be much better if they had a sliding mechanism. But there again, I do think PAS is very overrated . There clothing is fashion of performance and longevity
Hey, thanks for the comment. Just wanted to add that this is not really a PAS helmet. It is by Sweet Protection and PAS only adapted some coloring of the product.
But i also rode a 5 hour ride with the helmet while noticing 10km in, that i left the flaps on. So i rode over 4 hours with them in my backpocket without any problem.
