Lovely - Jimmy looks so young doesn't he, certainly not 32.
Sorry to be pedantic, but since he died the following morning when the race was, he probably had nearer 12 than 24 hours to live.

I honestly didn't think about that, But it's true he doesn't look 32 😂 I recently went up to Scotland (video will be poster as a Christmas special) and visited his old house.
It will be a great video as I speak to museum staff in Duns and I accidentally got a chance to interview his cousin Doug and what he told me he was such a nice man.

@@EndaMRacing Hi, thanks for replying. I've been to the museum too, we Clark fanatics find it such an amazing and emotional place don't we - so many trophies of all shapes and sizes - and by no means the full collection! And lovely cars there too.
I so envy you for meeting his cousin - all his sisters are dead now I believe? Does Doug look like him? Jimmy had a distinctive mouth didn't he, the way it moved somehow, his mother was exactly the same!
When I was there I visited his grave and went into the church - it was a Sunday and there was a service going on and I sat in the back of that little place, imagining all the great drivers there on that day in April 1968. I went to the cafe in Duns where I'd been told by someone that Ian Scott-Watson goes nearly every day - not that one unfortunately though - though there were lovely haggis toasties.😂
