Easy and fast armrest modification of VW e-up

- With the 2020 model of Volkswagen e-up we can travel for more than 250 kilometres with single charge. We can get tired during that journey so lets add an arm rest to the car to easy our live (It should be the same with Seat Mii electric or Skoda Citigo iv.). This modification takes no more than 5 minutes to make it and you will enjoy it every minute of your drive.

This is one of the best mods you can do to a car. Some years ago I got an used 1996 Passat... Old but gold forking drives. However, it lacked the armrest which is essential for long drives and the car has just a few hidden places to store your stuff.
I got one for less than 20€ on eBay or Amazon and the result was amazing!
I think it improved comfort even more that expensive mods that I could had done like automatic AC or changing the seats for better ones. Simple and easy improvement with great results!
Mine doesn't have Usb or cupholders but I do really car for cup holders

Can you please try to fasten the seat belt when the seat is pushed backwards to its end!?
Does the cupholder still hold tight to the armrest after a year? Does it move the whole thing? I can imagine that it might not hold tightly after a year

I have a problem with my E up 2020, maybe you can find a solution and make video. With fully opened co driver Window, ( no body sitting in the seat) the seatbelt is knocking at the plastic cover. At tempo 60-65 km/h its almost permanent. Same problem ?
To be honest I haven't ever driven with fully opened co driver window. I will test to see if I have the same problem on mine car.
I can confirm the problem. Will look for some solutions. I think it is a good idea to complain to Volkswagen about that.
I was at my VW service center, but no solution jet from them. I was thinking about, to glue a piece f foam rubber ( at least 3mm thick) in the touching area ot the plastic cover.

Will this armrest fit in a seat Mii?

A good idea to add an armrest but this is a cheap-looking piece of Chinese crap! That doesn't seem to fit securely and I think the handbrake cannot be used adequately with the rest in its forward position. Also, a trailing USB wire will get in the way and get snagged! Overall complete rubbish that I would never put in my car!
