Dana Do's: What's the Difference Between DRL & DRD?

Depending on the source, you can get some conflicting information about DRL vs DRD. PTB co-founder Dana Meller clears up the confusion with a more current look at these two reinforcement procedures.

Hi Dana, it still is not making much sense. This what I have understood based on another resource's videos.
DRL is time based - if specified time frame passes by and response DIDN'T occur then there’s REINFORCEMENT
(Jake doesn’t have alcoholic drinks for 30 minutes so you reinforce. Also, you would slowly increase that time frame.)
*doesn’t engage in the behavior during this time*
DRD is criteria based
(Jake has 2 or less drinks to receive reinforcement. Also, you decrease criteria until you get appropriate amount of drinks)
*does less than the criteria*
Would you agree with this/is this correct?
