He just told in clear words to keep away from his brother. Yet she keep on been with him and going everywhere with him to explain.
Lu Jin made a huge mistake. He tells her at least three times to stay away from his brother (initially just because he's jealous) but he never tells her why, never voices his suspicions, just gives her an order and expects her to blindly obey it. Shengnan has no understanding of the background in his family and can't comprehend that his own brother would use her to stab Lu Jin in the back. So Lu Jin doesn't trust her after all. If he did, he'd explain and trust her to keep her mouth shut. Instead, she keeps getting into trouble because she has no defenses. She DID try to avoid the kid, even ducking down an alley to get away from him and telling him to go home when he showed up at her door, but her soft heart is going to be touched when he starts talking about missing his father, and part of her resents that Fussy Lu is acting like a little dictator. My sympathies are with her on this one. (Although getting drunk was a stupid move.)
