Its crazy how some cars chain drifts together and the points stack and others don't. Ive only seen it in the BMW coupe, and this car. I havent seen it with any others and ive used alot. Hope it gets fixed where its available for all cars.
i agree with that last statement! ive seen this effect with the M2, Colorado, 06 Subaru, and BMW Z4 (Z4 is the most difficult for me). i know someone who can chain with the dark horse, i just cant figure it out lol
I think they meant for all cars to be able to do it, because you can only hit "drift pro" (10k points I think?) in a car that keeps the points going like this. Probably need to report it to them so they hopefully fix all the cars
@@defnotatroll it should definitely be like this for all cars. yeah its 10k for the drift pro pop up, closest ive gotten without the chaining is around that spiral parking garage in route 86, and it popped up insane drift which is the one before drift pro i believe

@@DaBust3r by the way do you by chance know how in tf the rental rx7 is good? Broken too? I drive it and doesn’t do shit for me but when someone uses it they even shit on this Colorado as example. It’s wild.
@AllDiligence the RX7 is just good all around in drifting imo, i also feel like the rentals are actually pretty good compared to the old rentals (i mean anything is) lol. i havent ran it much myself but i do see people score pretty high with it if theyre skilled. vol 7 has brought out some good talent ive noticed
Devs having a laugh coding the Colorado to be a meta drift truck. That said I love drifting this truck and the challenge of taking out cops in it is worth doing.
Love your content man! Even with elite drift pro tyres, does the camber & height count? Still need to be as high and straight as possible?
thanks so much! and from what i see the stance doesnt seem to matter anymore. cars are bouncier than before so it seems like some cars are just gonna be lucky and not be affected by the bouncing

Also figured out that the bronze and elite off-road suspension perform the same and take away the same amount of points so if you don't have alot of money you can go with the cheaper option
I tried the Raptor last week and it was like trying to drift a house... It's amazing this thing feels so agile compared.
And is it worth banking more often or holding out? I find I'm scoring very similar either way.
i would say it works best at the very begining to get to x3 multiplier, then after that it doesnt matter so much, but holding the score squeezes in like 50 extra points between transfers
Still able to best this truck. Yeah it give me a run for my money sometimes but i still believe there’s no car that give a clear advantage. Skill is still such a huge factor. There’s no meta in drift still and i find it amusing people are dead set on looking for a bail out. Also I wouldnt depend on those huge numbers. Did alot of testing and the dev look like they made sure 2x2x2 is more or less equal to 2 cubed. Doesnt hurt to divide some lines. Chains doesnt matter anymore although it felt better seeing 80 on my screen. But what ever they did they made sure you still get points. Im getting higher scores after the patch. Either which way they made sure everyone has a viable chance. Trucks makes sense because their natural center of gravity. Hence why downforce wasn’t changed. Not worried going forward because they just tryna win n when they dont they leave with confusion. Pretty sure there’s just a general skill issue and no one wants to loose😭. Theres a reason why the lobbies are full of awd and these so called meta or cheese. Never lost to an m2 idk maybe i never played a high-skilled person in a m2. People just need take their time on the track amd dont shy away from e brakes.
Not hating on those who uses this. Idk whats your purpose if you actually like trucks or you’re one of those who think looking up a yt vid going to put you in first place. If you’re the latter good luck honestly. Winning in what you like is far better hopping in something that “maybe” helps you win. Then you doubt the build. Find what works for you. I dont think the game/scoring is static. Think each checkpoint individually has an optimal speed angle and duration you can achieve. Ex drifts 2nd gear score climbs fast in tight turns but wider and longer you dont get the same climb. So you go into 3rd less angle more speed maybe more or less same duration now it climbs.
i mean yeah, the new drift pro stuff made it alot more skill based. if you got the skills you can pretty much use any car and do good. this truck and a few other cars just seem to make the points either easier or a lil faster, but that could just be me. tbh i do miss seeing 80-100 chaining bonuses 🤣 if you have discord join my server, we have some people who might give you a little more competition if youre looking for it, or just people to slide with 🤙
@@DaBust3r i totally agree with you on the 80-100 chains😂🤙🏽 it made everything feel overall, where as now it focuses on each checkpoint individually. Definitely will join the discord, always looking forward towards a good lobby. 🤝

personally for Evo 9 i run the 2.2l i4 diesel like with the B class RX7 and A class RSR on my channel. it is really good, but not my favorite

@@DaBust3r i've never been into drifting before this volume came out (drifting in volume 3 - 6 was pretty boring and crappy).
I've been (and still am i) a drift racer. And I'm pretty good at it.
I mean, closing Lakeshore Remix with a 2:07 on a Drift Diablo in A+ in volume 6 is not average at all. Ofc is not the top of the top.
Just saying, that i'm not unskilled.😅
I've started playing drift pro one and a half week ago. I just understood the base mechanics (how to keep drifting by changing angle (side)) and the best cars for each class (imo) to do that. I'm scoring 20k - 40k less poimts than you do, and i'm not doing perma twin drifting, cause i play alone.
Still, 90% of the times that i find an Evo 9 (so the player is decent) it farms a lot more points than the other cars (mine too).
@eddie0Fll i wasnt coming at your skill level, but these gameplays arent exactly record runs. i have seperate videos of those where im actually trying to get the max amount of points solo or twin drift (i seperate them). ive been drifting in this game since the old wack physics and scored pretty high in them too. the evo 9 is good, but its not near first on my list was all i was trying to say. vol 7 opened up the variety of cars you can use and score good points with. the evo 9 was also good in the old drifting so its not surprising tbh
Forza Devs refuse to add Drift Suspension to trucks because it’s unrealistic.

definitely not lol. this trucks good for getting points, but a majority of my garage is just cars that i like. those build videos will be coming soon, some are on the channel already too

So in order to win i gotta pick my cars and tuning the smart way. I hate this. I just want to drift what i really like and be judged by my actual drifting, not based on the car or tuning parts i picked
not exactly. not alot of pub lobbies are gonna sport this truck, so you would be fine with going with a car you like over meta. i do have other builds on the channel and on the way that are fun and can score pretty well
