Making Zenitsu's Katana with Actual Electricity | Demon Slayer

- Hey, Schizo here. I made Zenitsu's nichirin katana from Demon Slayer anime. The sword has what is basically a homemade taser on the handle so that the blade actually produces high voltage electricity.

Something which occured to me: the transformers you use are rather cheap ones that might burn out if the circuit is on for too long. Why didn't you go for a push button instead of a switch?
I feel like this would be a cooler consept if instead of a tazer using electricity it was more of a plasma based sword so the whole sword would be engulfed (sorta)

If Hollywood ever makes a live action demon slayer film, this would make the perfect prop for Zenitsu’s nichirin without any fancy CGI lightning over the blade👍

(PS: How dangerous is it to try to build your EMP project?)
Mildly dangerous. My EMP build has a pretty pathetic range by design. Just don’t be stupid with the transformers (same as this build) and for the most part you’ll be fine. And obviously don’t have it near things you don’t want damaged.
@@schizo4725 Thanks! I've ordered the parts and most have arrived (thanks for the inspiration) and will get to building it soon! Also, does it matter which way you wire the + and - of the transformer to the coil? My transformer's both output wires are red so I can't distinguish them!
