The reason people separate yolks from egg whites is because there are countless recipes for which you need just one part of the egg, or you need both parts but you have to add them separately. This is particularly often the case when it comes to sweets and baked stuff.
Actually the separating the yolks from the whites can be useful for some dishes or baked goods I think. I remember baking with my mom and this certain recipe needed only egg whites, so you have to separate the yolk from the whites. So I guess that technique is nice... But I'm too lazy to go buy a bottle of water just to empty it and then scoop the yolk away so yeah xD
You can also just use the shells, when your cracking a egg you should try and keep the egg inside the egg shell and make sure to empty the egg white into a bowl and then the yolk can be put into another bowl
Just do the “one to another” trick! Crack the egg and take the yolk from one side of the shell to the other until all the white is in the bowl. Also it’s good to do it over a separate bowl to the rest of the eggs in case the egg yolk breaks
Small thing. In many baking recipes you need to remove the egg yolk to make a meringue or just to whip the eggs up Also the Oreo cake thing is actually amazing but u need to crush it with a food processor
Yes you can unsend emails. In Outlook there's a specific option to recall emails. Generally though, they have to be unread in the receivers inbox and you can either trigger it to delete the email or replace it with another one.
I have ADHD, making decisions harder to make. I often have other people choose A or B. ADHD paralysis is basically when ADHD makes decision making really difficult, so this helps me decide which one is more appealing
the "unsend email" does actually work, but there's a time gap in which you have to unsend it (a little box will appear on the corner, which reads "email sent" or something like that, and there's an undo button next to it.) The default is 5 seconds, so within five seconds you have to undo it, the max is 30 seconds. so yeah- thats about it
@@moraelity I don't understand how that's supposed to work, then. From what I heard about the video's hack, she's saying when flipping the coin you can do something to make it land the right way, so I don't see how that works unless you've decided the way you want it to land?
@@xiphactinusaudax1045 Like, if I'm in a dilemma between choosing milkshake or coffee, I just have to "tail- milkshake, head- coffee" then throw the coin. When you do something that's out of your control, like picking one from two things, you tend to have an expectation to it. In this case, it brings out my subconscious expectation: "I want the coin to turn head so I can get coffee", hence now I know what I want
@@xiphactinusaudax1045 I’m unsure about what you’re saying tbh. But subconsciously and consciously are different. You do a lot of things subconsciously, because you don’t think about doing it it just happens. Breathing is subconscious unless you actively focus on your breathing. Flipping a coin you’ll subconsciously want an outcome but because its subconscious, you don’t think about it. That’s why when you get the opposite outcome, you’re a little disappointed even if you didn’t consciously decide what outcome you wanted
The idea of flipping a coin and choosing something regardless of the outcome is psychological and makes more sense than you would think. Once you flip the coin, this is what happens: You will either accept the result because you truly had no preference OR because it confirmed your preference; on the other hand, if you feel genuinely disappointed by the outcome, it means that you actually would have preferred the alternate outcome. Therefore, the coin flip allowed you to make a decision, and the reasoning behind it is very simple really. Sometimes a person is indecisive, so if the outcome is attained by a means which is "seen" as out of their hands (i.e. a coin flip), that it when their genuine desire surfaces. I have to say the brownie trick at the end works to soften a brownie, but it wouldn't reverse the crystallization of the flour. It would just be a combination of soft and stale.
Ok so Megasus here’s your explanation on why we need to separate eggs yolks from the whites. Some cake recipes call for separated egg whites to whip by itself and the yolk to be mixed into the batter. It still gets mixed together in the end but it needs to be separated to be fluffed up. That’s how some cakes are so fluffy and soft. There’s your explanation
if someone is asking for an actual explanation as to why it doesn't work, those moves ignore all the pieces which are not in the top 2 layers, meaning the bottom 2x2x3 corner does not change and in the video its already solved so yeah. likely no one asked but still
The egg yolk separation works, and it’s not about eating them plain. A lot of baking requires you to whip egg whites, and they WILL NOT whip with the yolks
9:35 how can someone actually life thier entire life without ever having heard of splitting white from yellow when it comes to eggs like literally every second recepie in the book has that step
the wet paper towel thing is actually good, I use it whenever I want to heat up a leftover roll, cookie, doughnut, or something, it doesn't make it 100% back to normal but it does heat it up and put moisture back in it
7:00 I can confirm that 4this works because I've had that setting on for as long as I can remember. It's not really an undo, it's more of a stop sending because it waits until the undo button goes away before it sends.
As funny as it looks the scissors thing is understandable, one, multiple types of scissors are a thing like multiple knives, and two, it’s good to have an extra pair around, but yeah, stones to destroy the stones situation with the knife
Tetanus is an infection caused by bacteria called Clostridium tetani. When the bacteria invade the body, they produce a poison (toxin) that causes painful muscle contractions. Another name for tetanus is “lockjaw”. It often causes a person's neck and jaw muscles to lock, making it hard to open the mouth or swallow.
The rubix cube one works but only when the cube is MADE. So lets say the full cube is made, if you do two-four moves over and over again (like top left, right up) then yea it will work, it comes back to its original state sooner or later
There are several reasons you would want to separate the yolk from whites. Meringue will not whip up and form stiff peaks if you have yolk in it. Angel food cake won't come out right if you use the yolk. Those are just two off the top of my head. So yeah that's why they make all those tools to separate the yolk and whites. Also don't open microwave popcorn from the top. Cut one side out of the bag. It sits like a bowl and doesn't fall over and spill. And you don't get your hand all oily reaching down into the bag.
You never did this as a kid? Me and my cousins always did this as kids but we filled the cup with lots of milk but not too much then added the biscuit and mix it until it get hard as it the because one with the milk completely best food ever
11:08 guys if you want your brownies soft just put it in a plastic ziplock bag with a piece of bread (I prefer the butt of the bread since no one uses it) it gets soft after a while and the bread will be hard in return
Some recipes call for either only whites, like meringue, or only yokes, like custard. It's easier to just scoop the yoke up with your hand tho. But if you've already broken a yoke in the white, it's unusable for meringue. That's why you break and separate one egg at a time. I bake a lot lol.
My brother actually knows the rubix cube hack, he taught me a couple of tricks how to do it. I'm still not good at it but I'm still amazed at how much quicker he finishes the rubix cube no matter how messed up the cube is
The 2 moves rubix cube only works if you start from the solved state. It’s just the same as any other pattern. If you start doing it while it’s scrambled, after X amount of moves it’ll just “solve” itself back to the original scrambled state
It absoulute certain that repeating the two moves will not ever solve the rubik's cube, because that makes a subgroup of the group of all positions in the cube. But the number of positions obtained only that way will always divide the total number of possible configurations. That is Lagrange's theorem .
Honestly i love pegasus's content but he was being a little too insensitive to understanding whom "OnlyJayus" 's content was aimed at. The "I FOUND IT!" hack would work for almost everyone with a sibling - that is a situation all kids with siblings have been in quite regularly too, i might add and the coin flip hack is proven to be true because you do have a preference in the options you're tossing for and you'll likely find out if the coin lads on one side and you wish it had landed on the other. Do some research before attacking the creator for their content. No hate though, because I enjoy watching your content even though I do wish you were more selective with the content you took on to "roast". Especially in labelling it "The Worst Life Hacks You've Ever Seen". I personally enjoy her videos and find them relatable. Don't assume they're shit just because you don't relate to them.
Also egg whites are high in protein
@@nr1421 yes yes also that
I don't think he cooks
@@GlockRoaches sad
Never had this problem tbh I take the yolks out if i don't want them to effect the colours I'm using.
if someone is asking for an actual explanation as to why it doesn't work, those moves ignore all the pieces which are not in the top 2 layers, meaning the bottom 2x2x3 corner does not change and in the video its already solved so yeah.
likely no one asked but still
LMAO! I have never seen Pegasus so annoyed before! I am living for it lmaooo!
10:33 they summoned Venom
6:21 it actually works but if you start with a fully solved cube and do hack it will solve it again
Bruh
The egg yolk separation works, and it’s not about eating them plain. A lot of baking requires you to whip egg whites, and they WILL NOT whip with the yolks
7:28
its all fun and games until someone takes the water to drink it
💀
9:35
how can someone actually life thier entire life without ever having heard of splitting white from yellow when it comes to eggs
like literally every second recepie in the book has that step
the wet paper towel thing is actually good, I use it whenever I want to heat up a leftover roll, cookie, doughnut, or something, it doesn't make it 100% back to normal but it does heat it up and put moisture back in it
7:00 I can confirm that 4this works because I've had that setting on for as long as I can remember. It's not really an undo, it's more of a stop sending because it waits until the undo button goes away before it sends.
0:50 this is like using scissors to open scissors
As funny as it looks the scissors thing is understandable, one, multiple types of scissors are a thing like multiple knives, and two, it’s good to have an extra pair around, but yeah, stones to destroy the stones situation with the knife
Tetanus is an infection caused by bacteria called Clostridium tetani. When the bacteria invade the body, they produce a poison (toxin) that causes painful muscle contractions. Another name for tetanus is “lockjaw”. It often causes a person's neck and jaw muscles to lock, making it hard to open the mouth or swallow.
The last one with brownies actually would work just fine. Thats how people make corn tortillas soft too, it doesnt make them soggy just soft
pegasus isnt a 10/10 he’s more like 100/10

6:28 for the rubiks cube, it only works if it's already solved and then you continue doing it.
Can confirm that's not how to solve a Rubik's cube
Yup
i trust the cubing username
with the modelling tip, an open hand is more relaxed, it helps to make you more relaxed and thus the photo will look more natural
The orea life was disgusting. Also your definitely a 10/10. Pls I haven’t seen my brother in years.

wait i saw a chad24 in a video what it was called uh it was a song
@@isappycracks I'm the 25th Chad
The rubix cube one works but only when the cube is MADE. So lets say the full cube is made, if you do two-four moves over and over again (like top left, right up) then yea it will work, it comes back to its original state sooner or later
10:27 you paused it at the right moment. Well done.
I’ve actually tried the milk and Oreo one and it tastes AMAZING
There are several reasons you would want to separate the yolk from whites. Meringue will not whip up and form stiff peaks if you have yolk in it. Angel food cake won't come out right if you use the yolk. Those are just two off the top of my head. So yeah that's why they make all those tools to separate the yolk and whites. Also don't open microwave popcorn from the top. Cut one side out of the bag. It sits like a bowl and doesn't fall over and spill. And you don't get your hand all oily reaching down into the bag.
fun fact: the cookie and milk in a mug one actually works and tastes good
IKRR! SOOO GOOD
Yeahhh its so good, I literally love it, it's better than anything at the nearby bakery ngl
You never did this as a kid? Me and my cousins always did this as kids but we filled the cup with lots of milk but not too much then added the biscuit and mix it until it get hard as it the because one with the milk completely best food ever
11:00 she spited it as soon they video ended 💀
at 10:22 in the video my cousin had shown me it before, it actually tastes good but you can exclude the cream or not
reject modernity embrace monke
im capturing this pic and im going to use it 8:30
“Eat the entire egg like a normal person” i dont think pegasus realises that baking exists lol.
11:08 guys if you want your brownies soft just put it in a plastic ziplock bag with a piece of bread (I prefer the butt of the bread since no one uses it) it gets soft after a while and the bread will be hard in return
The paper towel one actually works though, I do it all the time to stale bread.
@@Treace-c8m i can confirm that it does work
heat and moisture will soften bread all the time
Agree with da title. Grandma is superior
Some recipes call for either only whites, like meringue, or only yokes, like custard. It's easier to just scoop the yoke up with your hand tho. But if you've already broken a yoke in the white, it's unusable for meringue. That's why you break and separate one egg at a time. I bake a lot lol.
"you are talking to 13 yo" *shows picture of a baby* 2:44
9:22 actually it's not a bad trick , sometimes when you make a cake you need to separate the yolks and the whites
I’ve actually tried the Oreo one and it’s really good sksks it’s like cake in a mug but with oreos
2:03 you don't have sibilings, do ya?
Ok the trick is right but the girl way is annoying and cringe just an opinion dont get mad
6:35 now this… this is the way. Jperm is god
omg the oreo one is SO GOOD i’ve tried it
4:34 is it just me or doesn’t anyone else finish the fries before the rest of the meal?
If the fries taste better I will have them last
I have bad memories with tiktok back in college...
Let's say I was paper thin close of throwing someone's phone out the window 😂
My brother actually knows the rubix cube hack, he taught me a couple of tricks how to do it. I'm still not good at it but I'm still amazed at how much quicker he finishes the rubix cube no matter how messed up the cube is
bro the oreos plus milk in microwave actually tastes good
But dont put too much oreos

The 2 moves rubix cube only works if you start from the solved state. It’s just the same as any other pattern. If you start doing it while it’s scrambled, after X amount of moves it’ll just “solve” itself back to the original scrambled state
1:48 Is an actual FBI tactic
10/10
*My brain at 2 a.m.* 4:08
Lol
I don't think I need to comment on the baking hack as I see many people addressing it in the comments already. Thank you for attending my rent sesh. Again: no hate - just my opinion and feedback on this video.
I agree with your proposition but if ANYONE else see's this you're more than likely going to get absolutely slammed in the replies.
Wow! Epic life hack if you breath alot you stay alive
the unsending email thing actually works, tried it with another gmail account and it worked, waited for about 20 seconds before hitting undo and it worked, though max you can set it to is 30 seconds, anything beyond that and you can't undo the email

If u know How to solve a rubix cube you know that its 🧢
6:04 for this hack, if you start with a solved cube and do those moves repeatedly, your cube will look like its scrambled and you should be able to solve it the same way by doing those moves. However, if you scramble the cube legitamitely, like actually do different moves, you cannot solve a cube with this method.
