  • We've had our bus, Wattle, for 2 months. In this video you'll see us remove the interior including the seats and wheelchair tracks.
Wattle was previously owned by a church and nursing home, it has about 155,000km on the clock which is really low for a 20 year old bus, and one of the main reasons why we chose this bus.
At one point it had a wheelchair lift in the back, hence the double back doors. It has had several seating arrangements in its life, including at one point only 1 row of seats, and the rest wheelchair tracks. When we aquired her, the floor in Wattle had already been lowered to accommodate wheelchairs.
The seats and wheelchair tracks proved quite difficult for us to remove, due to them not being factory fitted, and the nuts weren't captured underneath meaning we had to have one of us under the bus, and the other in the bus to undo all of them.

Man, those seat rails would be the death of me. Good call on using the angle grinder for some of the heads.
