Great video, and welcome to beach cleanup! Your wrapup finds at the end are very typical for non-discriminant metal detecting, and that's a good thing, as you should dig everything until you get sick of it. The ratio of bling to bottle caps/pull tabs is also correct. It's frustrating but correct. I still dig most things, as you'll learn that what might be a pull tab could actually be a toe ring. Seriously... Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and comment. I appreciate your encouraging words and experience. I'm very new to this hobby and love it. I tend to dig every reasonable signal until my arm wants to fall off, then I discriminate more. I'm getting better at learning how to understand my detector and have no problem cleaning up the beautiful beaches where I live. You never know when you'll dig something interesting. I love it! Thank you again!
Hi. Thank you. I just subscribed to your channel, as well, and look forward to enjoying your videos. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. Have a great day.
@@MetalDetectingMermaid Thanks and I am also on your team as well. Was a nice live with Shane. I have been on and off making videos. Only do it for fun but need to make some new ones. Natalie
@ Thank you, Natalie. It was an honor to be invited. It's nice to meet another woman detectorist. I'll look forward to watching your hunts in your part of the world.
Thank you. It was great fun to find! Hopefully it's the start of a streak, and I can enjoy another jewelry find soon. It is a thrill to see. Have a great week!
Thank you! It was fun to find. I hope it's the first of many! A lot of you find so much jewelry. People here do too, yet it has been elusive for me. Hopefully it's the start of a nice streak. I appreciate you taking the time to comment.
Thank you, Susan. I appreciate it. You all find so many rings where you hunt! I can't even imagine that. I appreciate your kind words and encouragement.
Thank you. I've had, probably, twenty hunts and hadn't yet found a single piece of jewelry. It was fun to find. One day there will be gold. Silver is much more prevalent here, and I'll be happy with any of it! I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Have a great week.
Congratulations on your first ring. Headphones will usually help you to avoid the small talk. Don't wear them at night though. You need to keep that situational awareness. Busy beaches will yield more treasure. The end of the day might be best around the chairs and volleyball areas. Best from Colorado USA
Thank you. Yes -- I would like to get some headphones. Both to be able to listen better when there's loud surf and to keep people from trying to chat and hover. Hopefully they will be in the budget in a month or so. Early mornings are my favorite time to hunt -- or do much of anything really. I appreciate and value you sharing your knowledge. Thank you.
Excellent video and hunt Anna. Congrats 🎉 on finding your first ring. Sorry about my comment about your ring find on your premier video. I missed most of your video anyway it's a long story. . So you Coined a new description word for us detectorist. " Paso Grunt" 🤣 I totally understand what it means irony trash tone . Absolutely priceless description. Super happy for you that you found your first ring. Really enjoyed your video thanks 👍😃💯
LOL -- thank you, Gregg. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I think there are two iron grunts with the XTP -- the "peso grunt" and the "paso grunt." 😂😂 I love it! It is a great description now that I see it written in your comment. I'll be using them going forward. Have a great weekend and catch you in chat. Take care.
Cool hunt Anna congratulations on your first ring 🤩👏🏻 I was out on a group dig last Sunday and found three half silver coins the oldest one was a half crown of George Vth dated 1922
Thank you, Martin. How exciting for you! What great news! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful find. I looked it up to know what it looks like. Lovely!
Congrats as on the ring, though not as grand as we like all the time, a ring is a ring! It pumps up our spirits and on to the next! You were in the vicinity of one found by another person, all it takes for you to be the next! Your dong all the right things, all will fall in place, sooner or later! Keep on swinging 😎👍😎
Thank you, Rob. I appreciate it. I'm 53 years old and think this is the first ring I've ever had with a plastic "stone" -- and yellow at that. LOL. It was great fun to find. I know people here who find them regularly, but they've been elusive for me. Have a great week and thank you again for your encouragement, support, and taking the time to comment.
Congratulations on your first ring!! From now on, you will continue finding more; you´ll see! I remember finding my first ring which was made of mexican silver 925 but I didn´t realize after 2 years later LoL. 👏🤜🤛😃
How fun that your first ring was Mexican silver. What a nice find! Thank you for the congratulations and taking the time to watch and comment. I was thrilled to find it. And yes, hopefully it leads to many more. Take care.
Nice hunt! Congratulations on the ring and I love the old button . I saw your channel name on the livestream from Rob the other day and I subscribed. Happy hunting!

Congratulations on your ring find, it's priceless to you! I liked how you shared that huge piece of driftwood, beautiful. Also, the rock formation, was there any volcano activity in the area in history?
Thank you. It was a fun find! The wood is stunning. I am going to try and get a better image of it next time I'm there. I am not sure about volcanic activity in this particular area, but I know the nearby state of Colima has a volcano. I have a lot to learn about the history of the area I live now. It's a good question and will prompt me to discover more. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment.
@@MetalDetectingMermaid the black, shiny rock maybe basalt from lava flows and the lighter rock maybe sedimentary rock being formed in-between lava flows. I am NOT a geologist but things like this make me curious Anyway, swing on and love your new life ❤️
@@JourneyManAsia Thank you. I would love to come to Thailand! I've been to Singapore, Malaysia, India, Japan, Bali, and China. I've not yet visited Thailand. When I have a few less dogs, I look forward to traveling again. Thank you for your kind words. I do love nature and where I live.
