- They Made The High Threat Zone Harder To Solo In Modern Warfare Zombies Season 4. In today's video I decided to head into the high threat zone solo to see what the experience is like after the buff. Whenever they nerfed the incendiary ammo they also decided to make stealth changes to the zombies in not only the high threat zone but also other zones and dark aether. With the increase in numbers its never been more important especially solo to show up prepared to challenge the high threat zone but also make sure to have the one of the few top weapons. Regardless if you choose to take on contracts or not the amount of zombies and specials you will find yourself fighting will be significantly more than before season 4 and truly test you solo skills. What’s the number 1 weapon of choice for running solo in tier 3 in ur honest opinion?
People always think they get buffed but always seems the same easy 💩 to me
FJX Horus seems to be the favorite amongst most but I like the ram-9 quite a bit to be honest
Honestly the Ftac Siege shreds even bosses it has an insane fire rate ive tried the fjx and its good but the fire rate on the ftac is better in my opinion

I like how devs nerfing all fun stuff in none competitive game types.
And do nothing about the cheaters in all the other modes
I don't think it would be as big of a deal if we got some buffs to the bottom half of the weapons at least
@ErrlShatter guns are way out of balance but they been that way and will mostlikely always be that way, alternating only a few meta every season
I once fell into a sink hole like the one you mentioned at 19:42 and luckily my teammate was there to bail me out with their 🚗 😮💨

They wanted to make the red zone more elite like they want it to be. If they are going to do this, they should remove the 2 plate vest from loot pool.
I don't think them making changes is bad but when it doesnt involve weapon balancing, loot pool changes , or bug fixes its not a W
I can clearly see its buffed over there. Yesterday i was in the tier 3 zone and died out of nowhere. And then i saw like 20 manglers hugging each other. I was like wtf is this 😵😦
Lmao I kept going down and it was pissing me off. I was thinking tier 3 feels a lot harder now but I didn’t wanna blame the game.
Sometimes it seems like some of the spore controls break the spawns in tier 3. Have had people leave them up and my god was the zone insane the whole time.
In my opinion they should revert the zones. They should make zone 1 to zone 3 and viceversa like that we won’t be fighting over contracts

They likely would never do that because the mode was never made with the idea every player in a match would have the same level of stuff to start off with. They def thought it would be more balanced across the zones with not everyone spawning in with the best items.
New map wouldn't do anything because if they didnt implement new contracts, enemy type or stuff to earn it would just be another place to compete for the hardest content

I myself have noticed a lot more _Super Sprinters_ then there use to be in T2.
More zombies will make the ratio of sprinters go up. Technically all zones have been buffed but its most noticeable in t3 or DA
You can also get out of the hole with a scorcher.
I’d heard about a hole before but not seen it.
I had a random team mate fall down there when fighting a mega abomination.
I didn’t even realise they had fallen down there as I wasn’t sure where the hole was.
They put a message up on the game asking for me to help so I dropped them my scorcher.
It’s such garbage that that hasn’t been fixed but they nerf all the guns and buff the zombies but don’t actually fix legitimate problems
I avoid that damn hole every game . If you're in a team you can mark it and they will see it .
Yeah I fell in it once and thank god I had a scorcher that popped me out.
I ran last night with the RL amp with dead wire, didn't have any problems except one team grabbed all 3 triangles , greedy man greedy .
Unpopular opinion but you should only be ably to activate, get one the triangle challenges so you get a pap 3 and leg and so do at least 2 other ppl
I actually grab all three triangles and keep one of the rifts for myself and go drop two of them to people playing tier 1.
Everyone's experience is different of course but Imagine if you could use a wide variety of weapons to find success instead of maybe 5 tops because otherwise you cant do enough damage even maxed out.
T2 is a J O K E now. The zombies don’t even chase you. I did an outlast in T2 and kills 4 yes FOUR zombies the entire contract. I ran 6 contracts in T2 and kills a grand total of 64 zombies.
Def some issues with zombies in some cases but when they actually are functioning correctly they tend to be a bit more crazy than before.
It seems like they did buff t3 zombie aggression, most noticeable when I'm solo. My complaint is about the 3rd dark aether. WTF is all I can think to say. Would not even attempt solo, and almost impossible with squads. After multiple trips, I've only managed an exil once, deaths all others. If it wasn't for the one schematic I'm missing, I doubt I would ever go back into that da. For me, it hasn't been an enjoyable challenge
Changes in secret always catch players off guard too so most will assume what they have been doing will still work and it might not leading to many more unprepared teams especially for dark aether.
10:41 that happens to me all the time I’ll be running in one direction look left and right to make sure I’m clear turn to shoot the board behind me and instantly I’m being hit in the back by 5 or 6 zombies
They just move so damn fast or spawn in that way🤣
I don’t mind a buff to the opposition- what I do mind is the way it’s implemented - I play at least one match a day… since patching incendiary rounds, I have seen minutes-go by in T3 without seeing a zombie. Whether other players in zone or not. Okay, I guess… other matches I have had opposite to the point the game spawns zeds directly on top of you… meaning clear a building, ease a zone… all is calm then all of a sudden youre being whacked from 3 zeds from 3 different angles. Thats stupid. I won’t go in without 2 self rez gold armor, MOH, and fully papped weapon. That’s not player issue for being downed. The game has gone whackamole with spawn points- same in lower tier too
Stealth changes are the worst kind in my opinion
i played a game last night i was the only player to enter t3 the whole game. the number of zombies has def gone up but its sooooooo fun when nobody is taking all the contracts etc.
I think a lot of players head to tier 3 for triangles then go back to t2 for contracts
stuff like this is why modern warfare III is my last call of duty, im moving on from call of duty there lack of care is insane, we barely survive that zone in general theres no need for them to do this every update they make just sucks the fun out of the game and make it un playable each year, enough is enough man like i said errl this call of duty is my last one im moving unto other games and i would recommend the same for other people

If you're solo don't do the spore contract in the north east corner. There are way too many zombies since it's next to an infected stronghold and an aether nest.

Dude me and a random stepped into a pothole in tier 3 and could not get out end up getting stuck there until the gas killed us, wasting my last mag of holding. And this was after the previous game where I crashed out.
I fell in the other day. Crazy thing is it is like the only time I had a scorcher on me. Why even have stuff like that in game
Im not sure what even caused these to exist because the map hasnt had any changes for zombies that I know of

I dont like mwz at all, it was fun at first.n Why did have to add that stupid ee for a free pap 3 crystal and legendary aether tool? The tier 3 zone is constantly packed with people. How come when I ask politely and give out my location to be revived nobody revives me? I uninstalled cod for many reasons, none of them compare to my experience in the dark aether...how is any regular solo player with barely any time on their hands supposed to unlock any of the new schematics?
A lot of streamers on UA-cam should love it. Unless you are a very good player or a fan of groups you are back of the bus to 5he devs. They'll nerf anything that makes life easier and more fun to the casual players even the ones that play everyday 2 to 5 games. They got your money now they just need creators to "show how easy it is whiners" and they get them in droves.
Well hopefully you don't feel like that's my goal. I love to struggle as its more entertaining to viewers and also hope that my videos can help others become more successful. More people enjoying the game only encourages them to support the modes in the future even more.

I went to the elder amd I was over taken by 3 abominations. 4 disciples so many zombies. Not even a round 70 in normal would be this tuff. I guess I didn’t go in with the best team but then completely froze and it even turned off my Xbox
Originally you wouldn't get nearly as many especially in s3 rift until you got the first contract but now its insane how much you deal with on the way or in general. Changes are good but not the best in secret and without some other much needed fixes.
Not enjoying these changes as a solo player. I run over to T3 and run some triangles to boost my stash and then move to T2 and grind contracts for cooldown times. That didn't used to be my strategy. I'd run solo in T3 but with the buff in spawn numbers and aggression that can really be a challenge.
thats the point. it's supposed to be the hardest zone in the map.
@@nibward5388 agreed, but the buff is annoying. T3 contracts are no big deal but the hordes between contracts are ridiculous.
I think people get it twisted its always been the hardest zone on the map but it should be reasonable with at least most weapons which it is not. A lot of players will says its easy solo or no big deal but are also only ever using one of the top 5 weapons to do so.
idk i like having more zombies, but i prefer solo. when theres more people there is even more zombies and theres a lot of people who just run from them and they swarm you instead. solo its more controllable. you can use buildings, ziplines to stay away and turn around to kill off the horde when you need to.
something i dont understand is why people use optics and brakes in zombies, the best way to kill is to spam ads with deadshot, so really all you need is iron sights, let deadshot do the aiming. make your gun builds for sprint to fire and ads, at least try it. movement is also usually better with these kinds of builds. try it, you wont be disappointed.
I think if more zombies came with some other changes maybe to weapons or slight buffs to perks it wouldnt be as bad.
Iam not sure if they buffed the tier 3 zone. If someone is exfil glitching with a scorcher and flies away after every exfil glitch and does it again and again, zombies keep on spawning in rediculous manners all over the map... Next time look on your map if someone is doeing that ;-)
It only increases the spawn at that particular exfil, which decreases the spawn rate on the map to maintain stability so it actually means less on the map
@@SimonRiley115 Nope that is not thru, if they exfil camp, fly away with the scorcher, fly back and exfil camp again 3 times, the spawns all over the map keep spawning more zombies all the time...
@@Als_een_BAAS that's called boosting the exfil, it doesn't spawn more zombies on the map it spawns less. It only spawns more at the exfil you are boosting
@@SimonRiley115 yes it does, i tested it multiple times with friends, when they were in the tier 3 zone... If nobody is doing that, there are far less zombies in tier 3...
@EvenEenVraagje the zombies spawn as you run across the ground, the more people running around the more zombies you'll get, has nothing to do with boosted exfils...I've had so many zombies at the exfil before it would kick the whole lobby but they fixed that
rely on ether blade and dog in T3 but today used gold armor due to how quickly plates get destroyed. still went down once but think like you say armor is way to go.
Armor drops are way to inconsistent for me to feel like a casual player would find any comfort in tier 3 without it after this change but I am only guessing.
They didn’t need to buff the zombies for crying out loud.

The number of zombies is definitely increased and they are stronger then ever, even with juggernog and golden plates you can't stand many hits. Never had to use so many self revives since the update after the nerved ammo. But imho they have to make it all more difficult because you can always hear in the gameplay videos "oh it's soooooo easy, so much fun because soooo easy to make dark aether...." It's a real pain in the a.. for us casual player, we are not UA-cam pros. Don't get me wrong, I'm impressed bit I know that I never be on this level. Maybe the developer can make difficulty levels like in other games so you can decide if you want to play "easy" or "hardcore" mode for the bored UA-cam creators.
Hopefully I dont make it sound sooo easy. At the end of the day the above average players will always want it to be more challenging but if the casuals cant enjoy it then the game wont get the support we would all want to see
@@ErrlShatter I appreciate your honest comments in this video. Meanwhile I quit playing Zombies because no new content, getting harder because "soooo easy comments" from the pros and no changes in the outcast bug (sometimes I need 10 tries to activate). I noticed that the zombies in the outcast mission can now fly over you, landing behind you and within 2 oder 3 hits you're down. In one game I needed over 1.000 rounds for a mega and a disciple because the rounds made no damage to the HVT but spawned hordes of zombies, died because the ammo drops from the killed zombies where near zero so I had no ammo for the zombies as well.
Actually no problem with red zone with other players as I'm all alone in the Tier 3 zone. I'd like to join other teams but no one is in tier 3 zone (living in Europe). Of course it's easier with the contracts but even playing solo reduces the contracts and sometimes only the spore contracts are left over. Now I'm playing multiplayer games, more fun even with SBMM.
& the zombies have been coming from the left side of that building. It is better to climb up the ladder on the left side instead of the right where you were going when doing the triangle.
Most of the times I have ever done that triangle the amount of zombies coming over that roof is like a handful lol this time they wanted to party...
It wouldn't be so bad if the audio wasn't so jacked up. With the mission rifts, reward rifts, and tornadoes that you can hear from almost 200m away, that audio gets prioritized and overwhelms and zombies seem silent and surround me instantly. They need to tone that stuff down and give more priority to the actual zombies when they're nearby. More often than not, I either turn way down or just remove my headphones when in tier 3, and rely more on awareness, which sucks because it takes away from the experience.
I have tried all sorts of different weapons & conversion kits. Horus original is still the best.
Ram-9 is still great also
I like the fact that they bugged the zone but they gotta turn down the super sprinter and hell hounds down because your gun only holds so much ammo before you have to reload. And that’s when you need to get some distance to reload but you can’t because if you stop running to reload you are gonna get swiped so many times because it will be 10 super sprinters in the hoard

I have never not enjoyed the game solo due to difficulty but I also support the mode being enjoyable to more than the best players.
They could have at least buff the loot or contracts. T3 loot is trash now

More zombies, the better. Just a higher spawn rate. The zombies have the same health and damage. Used to be, you could do a contract and maybe see twenty zombies. Now, it’s double that, which is the way it should be for the high threat area. We’re all kitted up, we can get a flawless and legendary tool every game to replace what we used, so the more zombies the better.
More zombies can be okay but I dont think it was balanced how it was done. I think they use a ratio system to determine what variant spawns like hellhounds, sprinters, and specials that clearly needs a slight adjustment. Maybe a buff to some perks to make them more useful could be a solid option to make it better with the changes.

Anyone else experiencing Containment issues. Twice in two weeks I've been randomly dropped to containment level 0 through no fault of my own. From 339 to Zero, and after grinding our contracts again, from level 99 back to level 0. It's diheartening, and I'm out for the next COD.
It dropped from 630 ish to 96 yesterday for no reason
@@SkipToMyLou_ ah, that's not so bad, only 4 away from the top containment tier.
The fact that you don't get anything for levels higher than 100 is annoying too. 100+ containments should at least count towards ones cooldowns.

I don’t really understand the gripe. If you want the game to be easier or to not get hit just stay in 1 or 2. You can easily survive solo in tier 3 you just need to be prepped and play a certain way.

Yes but if u notice , he barely gets any zombies and awesome loot , he calls it "streamers luck" . All it is , is slightly modified account by the devs so he attracts more players. They do that in many games theese days 😉

I like it…. More challenging. Flamethrower is still insane for reg zombie crowd control, instakills, works real well for soloing tier 3
the inc ammo was over powered on purpose just to attract more/new players cuz when the cod game went on sale the inc ammo was over powered when the sale ended the inc ammo was decreased in power
