I wanted the sense it came out and I finally ordered it and got it today. The backs are probably one of my favorite parts about the whole deck.. I love green!!
I so appreciated your walk through and thought on each card. Thank you. With this deck, I am left with the impression that that a theme of duality runs through the entire deck. Surely the light and shadow of all things as well as the ambivalences we face throughout life. The Cups being the strongest with the black and white cups, but almost every card has a yes, no feel to it which I think is wonderful as life is rarely purely this or that. And with the cups, those polka dot cups seem to push us to make choices about our values and preferences and our feelings about those things having to do with relationship. Thanks a bunch, Kelly.
I feel like this deck is calling for me so badly, especially the cups suit. Feels really nostalgic and peaceful, which is exactly what I need in this moment of grief and sadness
I just love this deck! Great walk-through! About the Magician's hands in his pockets: That excites me, b/c it makes me think of focusing one's will to create, rather than flashing all those tools around!
+Jamie Morris Very very true, I think this deck is very introspective, in some ways it reminds me of the internal nature of Tarot of the Hidden Realms, but whereas that deck, for me, is internal power, this one is very internal introspective so the hands in the pockets and closed eyes really work for that!
Nice review of this deck, thank you. I own it but haven't used it; will try it out now. Not crazy about the World card, myself; it doesn't seem as uplifting as the standard RWS imagery, and feels too much like it's about the end of life without a link to rebirth. But that won't keep me from exploring the deck. I differ with you on the symbolism of the High Priestess. In the RWS system, the HP is not "sensuous"; she represents the laws of the universe, and guards the gate to that which lies beyond the physical world. In this, she's rather Saturnian/Capricornian (which is, after all, a feminine sign), so I think this card, with the HP's rather formal and a bit forbidding black clothing, is just fine. BTW I noticed that in one card besides the Magician, a figure has her hands in her pockets (sorry I forget which one). I think it represents mystery; not everything is on display.
Thank you for this trimming display. So helpful. After more familiarity with the deck the entire bottoms could also be eliminated. Wouldn't take much time as it's pretty RWS designed and the pips are easy enough to count. What a wonderful deck. Anne
Thank you for the walkthrough! I ordered it last night and im glad to know more about my first deck after watching this, also its good to see how it would be after you trimmed it :D
I have the Dreaming way lenormand deck. It's wonderful as well. It's a shame that people can be so close minded and ugly about others expression/interpretation especially when it comes to something as expansive like the tarot.
Hello +The Truth in Story :) I'm about to get this deck and I was wondering if I should trim it or not, but~ by watching your video I decided it looks beautiful without the edges, the images pop up! :D I'll definitely trim mine once it arrives hehe. Thanks for the video, love your channel ♥ :)
+Jamie Morris I never saw it that way :D I just saw "canopy" but I can definitely see what you are pointing too, and no need to apologize, it's a gorgeous deck!!
Did you make a video on interpreting "reversals"? I'm really interested about how you say you look at the cards in shadow rather than reversed. Love the video!
Love your walk-through, as usual. :) I can appreciate the cards but for some reason this deck doesn't call on me... Lately I'm drawn to decks that kind of go in their own direction, like the Japaridze, Ceccoli, Ludy Lescot etc (oh and I've just ordered The Starchild Tarot!) and somehow the decks that quite closely follow the RWS system don't draw me in...
Hi Kelly, I really love the art style of this deck and would also like to get a deck similar to it. Have you seen something that feels like it? I am not so up to date with the decks available on the market and would like a recommendation! Thank you!
Uh-oh. Kelly? I'd forgotten about the Beasts of Albion deck until someone reminded me today. And then, oops, I bought it. But now that you've invaded my head (LOL), I'm thinking in terms of what oracles go nicely with what tarots--and I think this one might look fabulous with the Dreaming Way. I can't seem to post a link here, but try Google images and take a look. It's the pattern-y background (which you'll see) that made me think of it. I'll let you know when my deck arrives!

Green is also my favorite color!!!! I hope you enjoy it!!

+Jamie Morris Oh, but I can't even stand that LWB. It just irritates me. You were very gracious about it.

Amazing 🤩 This is one of my favorites!
Thanks for showing the trimming results. The cards are beautiful. It's weird but watching you trim is relaxing too.
+purr bugaloo :D It's a very relaxing process, though I know it stresses some people out!

I am glad you enjoyed it and I agree that after a little work this is an easy deck to have the names off of it :D

This deck's beauty is doubled by trimming it.
I wonder why the artist or publisher did not recognize this.
Beautiful review I absolutely love this deck!
This is a lovely deck & I need it in my life :)
+Rachael Agreed. :D

+Maha's Treasure box Aw, that is so neat, it really is lovely!!
How many mm is the corner rounder? I want to trim it like yours... It really makes a difference lol
Hello +The Truth in Story :)

I do quite like it trimmed!! You are very welcome and I'm glad your enjoying my videos!! :)
Sorry. I love this deck. Did you notice?? Anyway, take another look at that Two of Wands. Above his head is a SECOND WORLD!!
+Jamie Morris I never saw it that way :D I just saw "canopy" but I can definitely see what you are pointing too, and no need to apologize, it's a gorgeous deck!!

My ever growing wish list - thanks for this lovely review.
I actually traded with someone for this deck! I can't wait this deck to come! So beautiful! The artwork is Definitely my style!
oh this is gorgeous!

I Love Penny Dreadful!! Did you know that there is a copy of the tarot deck that she uses that you can purchase?
+Lori Edwards Yes! I have heard mixed things on it and don't know that I'd actually use it but it is VERY cool :D
A friend of mine has the deck, I cant say as I'm crazy on the images, doesn't look like they put a lot of thought into it which is a shame

+Jamie Morris Hmmm, I can't wait to see how yours looks with it lol, we'll have to add that to the Skype playtime list :D
+The Truth in Story At the moment, I'm tormenting myself with your favorite decks review. Who knows what will happen from that!
+The Truth in The Story What kinds of crystal are those three beautiful stones. I have been thinking of getting this deck. I am not sure though.
The first two are Labradorite and the last one is Shungite I believe!
The Truth in Story Labradorite cool who knew?
I like the cards, except for the world card, I don’t like the notion of the ultimate fulfillment being an old white man 😅
🤣🤣🤣
what's the name of that cutter youre using for the corners
I'm not sure which one is in this video but the one that I use and recommend is this one: amzn.to/2lX5Lmy
OH I was just looking at that one too! haha thanks for letting me know!
How do you use? Do you have any suggestion?
This is a tarot deck so I use it the same way I would any other tarot deck :)
I mean, for you it is more of a healing deck? a neutral deck?
I would say neutral with a bit of whimsy :)
The Truth in Story thank you!
