Marlise and Benjamin -- Betty Crocker House in San Diego (Swiss Demo)

It’s official. Brick n Barn owners have been selected to be featured on the Swiss TV Network, SRF. Over one-third of the entire country watches the reality show called “Ding Dong” (as in a doorbell). The hosts Viola Tami and editor Jan Fitze explore the most unique houses in Switzerland . . . and now, they are coming to California. The Betty Crocker Estate has been selected to be featured, along with owners, Marlise and Benjamin. The story? “Viola has no idea where she will end up. Open to any surprise, she rings the doorbell: Ding Dong! And the adventure begins.” According to the producer, they will tour the home, property, and join us for a few of our hobbies including cooking, surfing, and maybe leather-making. Why were we selected? They were looking for a Swiss couple, who lived in San Diego, in an interesting home, who spoke German, and had unique hobbies. They reached out to us and asked us to send a little video of ourselves. Somehow, this video we put together gave them reason to fly to America and come meet us in person this month.
