Agree on Varg, some people call him lazy even on his BM but i find it hypnotic, simple and brilliant riffs, ambient same.

That sucks about your job, sorry to hear that. The small silver lining is getting to explore your collection a bit more, sometimes we lose sight of that with always acquiring new stuff.
Definitely going to check out Ages, sounds right up my street. Cheers Joe!

Oh for sure. Definitely seeking out new employment. I wish I could say where I work so I could warn the world, but maybe once I finally quit, haha. Anyway, yeah its a good opportunity to revisit some oldies, which I've obviously done here and now shown. Definitely check out Ages! Soooo good!

The first Behemoth album is a masterpiece compared to the shit they put out nowadays. It's a shame where the band went. The acoustic track Hell Dwells in Ice is one of the most meaningfull tracks in music for me. Heard that very often on mp3 years ago when I made an MP3 playlist. Always this track. Masterpiece. I bought froum Obsequiae the album Aria Of Vernal Tombs a few months ago. Definetly a great band. Need to check out more. I latley spinning/listening to the Wurzelkraft - Primitiv Und Edel Wie Nie Zuvor CD album. Finally found that after a long search. While I searched for it stupid Discogs for some reason banned the whole band's discagrophy I think so it was not easy to find. So many great riffs on this one.

I agree. Definitely a very good album and that particular track definitely stands out among other black metal interludes and ambient tracks. Obsequie is definitely worth investigating further. I think their first album is still the best, but the whole discography is strong. Hmmm, never heard of this band you mentioned. I guess they must have some nsbm traits of discogs banned them, haha.

Probably they have NS traits. But Discogs banns everything apart from stuff that sells well. The album was never sold anyway on Discogs. Don't get why they bann even things that don't sell anyways.

@@dmuellner1997 I've heard the owner of discogs is very liberal. So, that's probably at least one reason lots of the NS bands get banned.

Could be. But if he really is that he has to bann (not that I want that) Burzum, Graveland, Infernum and shit like that immediately. Yeah they are not in your face NSBM but this Wurzelkraft album is also not. He only banns stuff that don't sell well. Funny thing a long time the first press and the black repress from NM's NeChrist were banned but the 2 coloured versions of the repress weren't. So what's the differcnce? You can argue that NM is not NS but if you don't think this album is NS I don't know. The differnce is the Black Version of the repress was going for the retail price while the colored versions were at least 55-60€. The Discogs guy milks the cow as long as possible and banns stufe only after they stop selling.

@@dmuellner1997 Of course. Well he's not going to ban stuff like Burzum, Graveland or Infernum, because certain versions of their albums will sell for very high prices. Same with Nokturnal Mortum like you mentioned. You always have to remember that discogs gets a small cut of every single sale. We could use an old Burzum DSP vinyl as an example, and lets say it sold for a $1000 or whatever, discogs would get a nice chunk of money from that sale. Basically its just more greedy Americans doing what Americans do best, which is being greedy. Honestly I've never made a really big purchase on discogs before. Probably the most I've paid for a record is $50. In most cases I'd sooner buy it direct from the band/label.
