Thanks for the tips, will help me out a lot. I will be constructing a part made of carbon fibre sandwich panels and was wondering, when using aluminium core is it a viable option to bend the core such that some of the cells buckle to conform to the radius, without losing too much stiffness? Previous people constructing the same part have tapered the core to about 20mm from the radius and then used a massive buildup of carbon plies for the corner. I have designed such that the radii should be less dramatic, but in some points the core would need to be deformed to go around these radii. I am hoping that I can find a method like this that would be viable as it can help in reducing weight of the part.

What is the 3rd honeycomb shown at 0:30? Is it a FlexCore made from Nomex? Can you do a video showing what that can do?

It really depends on how much you want/need. Amazon has small sheets, but bigger sheets can be ordered from granger. Just google aluminum honeycomb core. Note: it comes in a variety of cell thicknesses.
