Yaghistan is not a specific place. Yage is a Brushaski word that means (not in control) so Yaghistan means a place where no one follows any rules and regulations.

I am from Yaghistan (District Buner) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan.. here in Yaghistan include some Areas.. ( Buner, Dir, Bajaur, Swat, Waziristan, Mohmand Agency) these areas are Pashtuns Tribel Areas. The Unruled areas… no can ruled these Pashtuns Tribel Areas.. (British, Mughals, Ottomans, Sikhs) this is why these areas called Yaghistan mean ( The Land of Rebels)…
