I wonder if that skinny high rise shakes when there's a strong wind. I used to work in a tall building here in New York. I was on teh 50th floor. Every time there was a strong wind, I could feel the building shook from side to side. You would think there was an earthquake. It was scary. I asked teh security, he said the building was made that way to resist from breaking in half during earthquake. *** Cubana no longer has live band playing? *** I miss Cebu. I can't wait to go back there.
Wow, that sounds scary indeed. I don’t know if Horizons 101 shakes like that, but I hope not. Cubana still plays live bands, don’t worry. They have a great lineup of performers every night. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it when you come back to Cebu. 😊
@@MunkyExplores i beleive it has something to do with teh building's foundation sitting on a roller or elastic bearing for earthquake proof. I think most high rise are build this way especially Philippines is prone to earthquake.
What's the name of the bar around 14 minutes where the band were singing post malone ? Heading to cebu next month so am looking for the best live music venues
Thank you for your comment! The bar in question is called "The Tavern" and it is located inside Queensland Manor. "The Tavern" is definitely a great option for live music in Cebu, and I hope you have a great experience there! Here is the link to its exact location on Google Maps for your convenience maps.app.goo.gl/ZMQynJHfnFCRcdrJA?g_st=ic .
I'm hoping to be back there later this year. I was there in February and had to wear a mask everywhere but hopefully that will not be the case when I go back.
Hello Munkyyyy 👋. Looking at another video I haven't seen yet and there was another "chowking" lol. I noticed at 4 minutes and 38 seconds into the video you almost got ran over! You better watch it. Looks dangerous on those streets! Take care young lady, blessings 🙏
@@michaelt334 Yup, there’s one along General Maxilom Avenue near National Bookstore andUptown Cebu Bar. I reckon they close at 4AM and reopens 11AM. It is generally safe to go as a solo traveler. 😉
